Oh snap! I knew you had something big planned. Can't wait to see how she turns out, mate.

Thanks, lots more to come ;)
Ah right I forgot you did the AC delete, that would leave sufficient space for the I/C in front and the lower grill.
Ahh, I always thought you used aftermarket netting. Your right there is a discrepancy between the designs even from far people can see it doesnt match with metal mesh.

The IC is mounted to the bottom of the crash bar same as most of the FMIC kits designed for our cars. There is lots of room behind it to clear everything.

so no modification/cutting to the crash bar needed at all bro?
Crash bar was cut so the core fit properly in the lower grill, then I had a welder weld in the metal we cut out just to make sure the bar was still strong.

damn man, the gauges are gonna be awesome looking. cant wait to see this done. lmk if you have any questions.

Thanks, only questions ill have is how to find time to finish everything in 23 days, and the wiring for the AEM FIC but Big Lou, Flip and Cres should have the answers. Just need to figure out how to make the days longer so i have more time to get it done...

trust me, 23 days is plenty of time. the installation of the mecanical parts should only take 2 or 3, but the wiring is whats gonna get ya.

Haha if only you knew what had to be done in the 23 days... trust me there is much more work to be done then a few days will cover..

Just a few things that have to be done before the car is complete..

Weld in the patches in the floor to fix a few soft spots
rustproof and sound proof the whole interior before i can install the carpet
wire in the AEM FIC and all the gauges
wire in the stereo and build the new enclosure for the hatch- has to be finished for the show Easter weekend
Finish my interior pieces that are being recovered
finish recovering my new seats front and rear
Finish adjusting the suspension- raise the rear coils and clean them, alignment
Install the new tires

then everything in the engine bay...

once all that's done i have to detail my car inside and out and put it in the trailer to get it to the show. Plus tuning the car for boost since i refuse to drive it till that's done

so ya, lots of work to do plus work my 50+ hour week..

i thought all you were doing was the stuff in the engine bay.

nevermind then. get off the computer and start workin! hahaha

I am at work ;) its how i pay the car bills..

and the engine bay should go quickly once i receive everything back from coating. But i have such a high standard for how things look that I'm sure it wont be easy.

Im sure that the coated things will look awesome. And as for boost install, there really is not a whole lot you can do to make it look bad haha. You will probably wanna get a vacuum block though. What bov ate you using?

I have a vac block its being coated to match and its a greddy BOV. As far as install goes, i have seen many install that look busy and cluttered that is not me which makes the install harder since i have all the wires and vac lines to hide. Trust me, its not a simple install because i want it to look stock

In any case it can't be much more than that.

as far as boost goes no its 1 wire and 1 vac line.. but i have other things to hide and wires to hide to make it up to my high standards.

In either case I will do whats needed to have it ready for the spring not like deadlines are new.. hell 2 years ago my car was in primer 3 days before the car show and i was one of the first one's in line to roll into the arena for the show.

Best of luck with your time limits though. Buy when looking at the rest of the car, I don't see why you'd have any issue getting it all done right fast.

i mean getting it done right fast, and by fast i mean by the time of the show.....

My car will be in the show if its finished or not, too many people have paid for parts or services to not have it there.. but i can assure you before i drive it on the street it will have a proper tune and everything needed to monitor the engine properly...

Good to hear everything is working out.

Like I always recomend, make you have all the tools you need and get the proper tune set up.

exactly, no point in trying to rush things and have to redo them. That's why i listen to the good advice given to me the first time. ;)
