No, I suspect you'd get a small amount more power from the super-long-reach plugs recommended by fe=iron. Is it worth it? I don't think so...

to see the NGK choices. Looks like the taper-seat Hemi ones are the only real choice(?) Other than platinums and heat range choice. Plus look at the insulator reach difference on the platinums, in the pictures(?) They call it "extended projected tip" - like the tip on the hemis.(And actually, the 'extended reach' option we're already familiar with) Maybe we don't need the extended since the thread reach is already moving the spark so far towards the piston?

I cant get the crush washers off my plugs, just thought they would thread off but thats not the case. Will I be safe to run them without the washers or do they give the plug just the right clearance?
i wouldnt run them without the washers, if you look at the diameter of the hemi plug its a lot narrower, i dont think it will seat well and clearance wise the plug will sit deeper
i got the plugs last week and i've been trying since then to get the washers off some of my old plugs. they just dont want to come off!! i've tried unscrewing them and everything!

Well, I'm afraid the store I went to didn't have any of those other plugs in stock - but I had a very limited window of time to work on the car, so I ended up buying the FS-ZE plugs instead.
I didn't want to fuss with the gaskets, and while for most cars that aren't modified going 1 heat range up won't matter - I wouldn't recommend it on cars that are making significantly more power than stock (ie turbo) or driven very hard. It will increase the likelihood of ping. I drive like a little old lady, so it wouldn't have mattered for me. Lol.
