First post> how to up your compression cheap!!!!!!

subbed for something new......bring it.......so how about some part numbers.....other than dodge hemi plug......does NGK have one (with a part#)? cause i will do this once i get a hub on car :(

You can try this
http://www.ngk.com/search_char.asp
to see the NGK choices. Looks like the taper-seat Hemi ones are the only real choice(?) Other than platinums and heat range choice. Plus look at the insulator reach difference on the platinums, in the pictures(?) They call it "extended projected tip" - like the tip on the hemis.(And actually, the 'extended reach' option we're already familiar with) Maybe we don't need the extended since the thread reach is already moving the spark so far towards the piston?

This is from
http://www.ngk.com/search_char.asp?...25mm+(.984")&resistor=&action.x=39&action.y=9

I forgot why he opted for the hotter 4 heat range vs. the stock 5. Maybe because the pre-done gap is right?

I cant get the crush washers off my plugs, just thought they would thread off but thats not the case. Will I be safe to run them without the washers or do they give the plug just the right clearance?

you must use the washers from your existing plugs. they wont just pull off either. you must "unscrew" them off. clean the threads and use some plyers (gently) to unscrew them.
and hurry and install these! lol I want to see what your impression is about these plugs. lol

i wouldnt run them without the washers, if you look at the diameter of the hemi plug its a lot narrower, i dont think it will seat well and clearance wise the plug will sit deeper

I never had the slightest trouble removing the crush rings. But I've had some that really sucked. The best of luck with them. Still no feedback?

please do! If anyone else is interested in trying these out I have a set of 4 for cheap! :)

Well, I'm afraid the store I went to didn't have any of those other plugs in stock - but I had a very limited window of time to work on the car, so I ended up buying the FS-ZE plugs instead. ;) I didn't want to fuss with the gaskets, and while for most cars that aren't modified going 1 heat range up won't matter - I wouldn't recommend it on cars that are making significantly more power than stock (ie turbo) or driven very hard. It will increase the likelihood of ping. I drive like a little old lady, so it wouldn't have mattered for me. Lol.

tried it last night to and from work.throttle response was alot better but i have a 4:2:1 header with cat delete and had a few backfires when downshifting while playing on the interstate.not saying its the plugs but love the throttle response

I noticed a little more torque myself, with the ZE plugs. The old plugs were OE and in decent shape. So I can't help but think the longer reach is the reason the car feels "snappier," since the heat range and electrode are the same.
