:)

Thanks to Marlon and all those who were there in support of me. I dunno what happened, but when my car went up on the dyno, it was just Justine, Pablo, and I (with Evan2 and Wes working the dyno table). Then Levi, Phen, and everyone else swarmed in to watch. It really made me feel special, so thank you guys! I still don't believe the numbers, and know that on any other day/dyno they would be much lower, but it still feels good to think of the potential!

Marlon, thank you for everything today! ;) Please let me know if I can help out in any way!

You did have quite the crowd watching your dyno runs.

Your car looked great.

Thanks. Did you bring your Miata? I saw the car but never got a chance to talk to you (that I know of)...I'm sorry for that!

subbed for the sexiness that is your car

Thanks! Again, I didn't know you were coming out until after the event. Sorry we didn't get a chance to formally meet. Plus I'm pretty shy, in all honesty. I hope you don't think I was snobbish or something... I apologize! I hope you had a good time and come to more stuff, although it is a bit of a hike for ya!

those are great numbers

Thanks Nate! All day I kept saying, "it's a dynojet, it's the cooler temps, yaddayaddayadda" and Justine kept reminding me that "everyone used the same dyno at the same temps, yaddayaddayadda." It still doesn't make sense to me and seems way too high. But I honestly haven't researched much as to what my car should be putting out. All I know is, I set a lofty goal of reaching 300whp and according to Saturday's events, I'm only 31whp away... It seems absurd and unreal to me, but at least I have some proof and some hard numbers.

I'd think a Mustang dyno would put you at 230-250 more realistically. I know my numbers have to be high. I'd expect more like low 80's for my car on a Mustang dyno, lul.

Oh well, it was fun to dyno it, and you can't beat the price! Plus it goes to charity, so it's even better!

The best thing about the dyno was that so many people did it on the same dyno with the same conditions. You will have different numbers on different days on different dynos but all that matters is how your car feels to you. You've done a great job in the car and I know it will only get better. Congrats again man!

Factory freak! It happens man. Throw some racing decals on the badboy and you will have those 31 horzepowa to make 300!

Yeah I had the Miata and the MS3 there. I wanted to get the Miata on the dyno but it was so busy on Saturday. I should've done it on Friday.

I was part of the crowd when your car was on the dyno, but I left right before the run to go watch the Conti Challenge Race.

Impressive numbers on any dyno, let me know when you need any additional upgrades. Just an FYI I have spoken with Josh Adams @ Cp-e, let me know if any of you guys are interested in any of their products and I will save you some money.

Yes, definitely exciting to see your high numbers Chipmunk! I was a little sad mine weren't as high, but I'm also practically stock so I had low expectations haha.

Marlon, I'm interested in Cp-e parts. I think I'll be looking more seriously in 4-5 months.

I will be looking into Cp-e motor mounts next, after talking with Ivan and seeing my engine nearly jump out of the car on the dyno! I do wish they were cheaper (I can't afford them immediately, but close...) but of course I will go through you if/when I swing it!

nice numbers! do you miss the wheels being green?

Thanks! I don't know about the wheels. They were pretty awesome in green! What I really miss are my OZ Ultraleggeras that I sold to purchase the BC Coilovers...that way I'd have clean-looking summer wheels and then fun colored winter ones. Right now, I am 50/50 split between wanting aftermarket wheels again and being happy with the graphite painted OEM.

After this weekend, I am pumped up about my car again. So here is the most current to do list:

Within a week or so
1. change oil
2. raise coilovers a little, turn rear springs around (don't ask), soften rear damping (maybe front a little as well)
3. Rotate tires

Next month
4. SURE shortcut
5. SURE Counterweight

Before the end of this year
6. Driver/Passenger Side Motor Mounts
7. Snow tires if my all-seasons are too worn. I will just buy 18s and put them on OEM, or else find a cheap set of 16 or 17" wheels and buy smaller/cheaper winter tires....

Next Spring, 2012
8. Brakes
9. Summer aftermarket wheels/tires

If you're A/S are too worn for winter you can probably pick up a set of winter wheels/tires cheaper than buying winter tires for your current wheels. I wish I had done that instead of buying brand new.

I miss the green wheels ;)

Chippy, would you be willing to be a part of my CP-e team? I was talking to Josh and we are working see the progression of Speed 3's with videos of the dyno numbers with each power mod added, until you are done with mods. Let em know.

YES PLEASE!

I'll do whatever, especially in terms of dyno-video and keeping track of results as I progress. Send me Josh's email and I'll contact him tomorrow!

edit: of course, I don't have ANY cp-e parts...yet...that could be an issue...

I am working on marketing stuff for him and what better way to do that than to have a video presentation of a build in progress using CP-e's products. I am going to see if Evan #2 may be interested and we are looking a new Speed 3 as well, just need to see if Lauri wants to pull the trigger as it will be for her.
