Well, this will be the season ending event and one of your last chances to get on track for 2011. The cost is $180.00 for 3 -20 minute sessions, along with some classroom time too! This track is a mini-Mid-O, with some elevation changes and lots of run off area in case you make a mistake.

So hope to see some of you guys out at this event, Evan #1 & #2, Ivan, Chippy, Wes, Fez, Josh and others. basically make it an Ohio meet at the track. We can grill out, and shoot the shizznit, while watching each other lay down some laps.

Here is the link: http://www.beaverun.com/thrills_flat_out_days_split_sessions.php

You can register at anytime and you pay at anytime.

Subbin. I'll probably run since I'll have the Milly as my DD by then. Woo-hoo! Evan #2 will have to buy a helmet now. Haha

Hopefully this can be a early x-mas present from my gf since I never ask for anything. I really want to run on a real track and see how my setup works compared to autocrossing.

Man oh man do want to do this one. I will have to see what Jen has to say about it. I may be there regardless.

Anything is possible! You should give it a try and you'll have the time of y our life, guaranteed!

I'll try and make it out. Probably not running again until next year (need brakes and tires), but will definitely be in support of the team!

i thought you recently got new tires ~ do you go through a set every event? you must be drivin' hard!! : )

Didn't do it, I am spending money on my new 16x12 shed w/ a front porc(still under constuction). And have been slowly building the other car.
I will find some cash for tires since my OT is just starting.

Subbin for a possibility. All the Halloween parties will be that Saturday, and we usually get some friends together and do it up. lol

Damn, I think you're right lol! I hope I have the money to buy one, or else I can't do this event. Damn school tuition!!!

This will be the last event I do this year because I don't have very much tread left on the RX8 wheel tires.

Also...this track is a lot of fun!!! It's not very long, but there are enough elevation changes and turns to keep you busy. I actually like the fact that it's short. Since the sessions are only 20 minutes, you don't have a lot of time to really take every turn and improve each turn.

I'm excited because it should be a lot colder out during this event. Victoria LOVES cool weather. She really heat soaked quickly last event when it was in the 80's and the decrease in performance was extremely noticeable.

Good thing this event is still over 2 months away. I definitely need to get stainless brake lines. The brake pedal would feel like a sponge and barely do anything by the time I was 3/4 done with the session, forcing me to slow down. I think the fact that Beaverun has 2 long straights (Over 100mph for me) that both lead into slow turns really heats the brakes up.

I haven't pulled the wheels off since Mid-Ohio to see what I have left for track pads. If it looks good, I'll be out there. Otherwise I'm probably done until spring.

Btw, for those who haven't done a track day yet, BeaveRun is a really great place to start. It's challenging enough to be fun, but on most of the turns there's lots of run off so it's about as forgiving to newcomers as your going to get around here.

well since this is in my backyard "relatively speaking" i might have to make it up to watch/support all of you running
