Box for rear cargo area...

I built a box for the rear cargo area of my 2, I use it to store "stuff" and also to create a platform that is level with the back seats when they are folded flat for my Golden Retriever to have a nice lounge area.

No idea, not sure what a 2x4 and some plywood add up to... 15 lbs I would guess. Works well with my dog jumping in and out it doesn't move at all.

Nice box for rear cargo! Though I have one question. Is it safe to place a fire extinguisher in the car trunk? especially when the car is parked in a open parking and the sun is up?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that fire extinguishers are heat resistant.

Read the storage recommendation on the extinguisher and make the judgement call.
