Kevin and I are swapping his suspension this weekend (not sure which day) and I still have work to do on my car. But you guys are still more than welcome to have a party. Just clean up afterwards. heh-heh

Hahaha thanks. I dunno about a housewarming party though. If Phen and Evan would be cool with it, maybe we can have some people over on Sunday?? I know it's short notice but does that sound good to you two?

Start a thread. I could care less. Hell, I probably won't even be around the way everything has been lately.

ever considering selling it? how many miles? lol

i swear id love to have a klze especially if its boosted !

lulz. I'm not selling my P5. I probably have close to $7k invested in a $2k car. haha

You can do a ZE swap. With more and more Protege owners doing it the more there are of us to help out.

lol at selling, I have had a few of the kids at the school I work at ask me if they can buy it. My response is sure!, $8500 lol which is a bargain lol I have almost 10k invested plust the 4k i paid for the car. They never come through <_<

Wow, $8500 is a helluva bargain, Justin. Damn. What's wrong with you, man? Haha. What would you buy if you sold the Protege?

Completely unrelated but I found this when looking at stickers. tee-hee

what wrong with me? if anyone pays 8500 for a 3500 car they are dumb, idc how much its modded, its not worth it. To me its worth much more since I have an emotional attachment to it, but no one else would. However, if it ever did sell I would likely get a FD3S in Montego Blue

Yeah, I see your point. I told my boss the other day (he's a Prius driving tree-hugger) that I wish I was into a cheaper hobby. All the stuff we buy for our cars, and the cars themselves, depreciate SO much it's sadening. My basses actually increase in value every year. I need to buy more basses. heh-heh

yeah well if its something u enjoy and love doing and feel good when completing a mod, to me thats the value. I certainly do not mod as an investment (thats what my portfolio is for haha) it is as you stated, a hobby.

I totally agree with ya there, man. I think last year i actually realized I think I like working on my car and doing the wrenching more than anything. I tell my non-mechanical friends (aka musicians) it's just like a big Lego set and is fun to play with. Plus can you imagine how much money we've saved by learning all this stuff ourselves and not having to go to a mechanic? $75/hour shop rate my arse. haha

yeah buying lunch for a friend or two that help out is much cheaper than an hour of labor at a shop.

^^^ Exactly!!! lol

I spent a total of $55 dollars for labor when changing my clutch. It took three days.

Absolutely... until it gets to the point where it's kinda just expected if you show up at the house. And then we get pissed off.

Haha! Yeah, that's the general rule when I ask for help or a ride, I'll buy lunch. Then after 9pm I kick your ass out of the house by yelling "get ouuuuut!". Its kinda like helping someone move, You kinda expect pizza and beer afterwards.

Well I have two main friends that help out, I help one with his house and general s*** he needs me too, and the other I have helped him tear down and rebuild his DSM and the several other DSMs he works on many times and also provide computer tech support for free when needed, so it goes both ways over here.

I scratch their backs, they scratch my back. The funny thing about my back though is that its on my gentlemen sausage
