What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Looks like you should've gotten a Miata (or at least an MSM)...we briefly had this discussion before btw.
I get odd looks from people when the 20 y/o cockroach makes moves.
no i agree no way he was stock but even with few mods he can rip people up. i was planning on buying a miata speed but ended up getting the speed 6. the miata kinda looked funny to me and is rear wheel. prefer the AWD for those speedy corners
Nah. If I boosted mine he wouldnt be any competition.

Finally got an AP and got the Stage1+ 93 loaded up!
Nice! I've been dieing for the AP for so long and just never had the funds

I waited a while. Got all my ducks in a row. Clutch TSB, new OEM turbo, rear diff mount, rear engine mount taken care off before I started go fast stuff. Just going to use this car to get me through residency so probably will just add the corksport TMIC to my test pipe, get a protune....and be done with it.
Big difference with the stage 1?
Not sure how it happened, but I have a fist size dent in my bumper right below the passenger side foglight. And the paint has the little cracks. I give up on this front bumper. First the skirt gets torn up by a raccoon going 55 mph. I think I am just going to get a new skirt and front fender. As well as hood since the hood is all chipped up. Have it all painted and blended with the fenders. Just to be done with it all.

Big difference from stock to Stage1+ as for the Protune...Pure Tuning in Toledo, OH.

monsoon, how does the car feel now? Where do you notice the difference the most? I had always hoped to go down to Akuma for an AP and a protune one day. Maybe this year.

Well, my 6 got hit in the rear this morning leaving class. Got hit pretty hard, my back is killing me. However, the 6 is barely damaged. A large scrape on the back bumper, DOES catch on the fingernail. Also a few small dimples that resemble a hit from a trailer hitch and the bumper separated where the bumper/taillight/fender all meet, so my CAR-LED tail doesn't sit right. On the way home a big chunk of bumper support flew off Gotta get a estimate later in the week.

No, it will run, I could grab a preset map and tweak it, but I would really prefer a professionally done one to my specific car with the mods I will have on. I don't know enough myself to really do it properly, and from what I've heard these guys are among the best with this platform. Also, I can custom request my specific goals and focus on making safe power (instead of max power), with them able to spot any anomalies and iron out any little oddities with the end result.
Lip looks good, btw. Nice carbon front end with the white.
