The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Does anyone have any experience with multifuel engines, like a LDS engine in a M35 2 1/2 ton cargo truck? I was just wondering if used motor oil would count as a 'fuel' and could be used to dilute the cost of use. I mean used in mixing with either gas or diesel, not just straight used engine oil.

Edit: answered my question by googling, which I should have done in the first place. But the answer is yes, it will burn waste motor oil (WMO) in concentrations up to 100% WMO. The guys just recommend filtering it, to avoid problems with the pumps and injectors. Basically it'll burn anything you can light with a match, which includes gasoline, diesel, bio-fuel, WMO, used tranny fluid, kerosene, heating oil, etc etc.

Does anyone have MSP Racing Hearts just laying around, possibly 1 with a tire mounted? I would love to see how they look on my 3.

I have my set in the garage but I don't live close to you

Woke up to 55 deg in the apartment, maintenance comes over and hits the top of the furnace and it works. Something about something being stuck was the issue. The temp has gone up so I'm not complaining.

Hell son Columbus is only a hop, skip, and a jump.... Akron though is only a hop and skip lol. There is a set on the for sale thread for $360, but they seem a bit beat up. Jen is not too crazy about the look but I like them and think she would too if she saw them on the car. We shall see I guess. Yes, Levi they are sweet!

^^^I'm going to say yes....but not sure how stock the heavy 3 wheels are. You have the 17's right Larry? IIRC the MSP Racing Harts weigh in around 22-23lbs each. Which makes them one sexy pig.

Damn...they are that heavy? Must be something with Mazda's 17" wheels? The stock 16's on my wife's 2010 3 weighed in around 17lbs....

Levi is right they're 23lbs a piece....all Mazda wheels are like that. Larry, I have a set of MP3 wheels available if you'd like them.....

Ok. Another idea shot in the ass. I thought they were lighter. But they are a better looking wheel.

I don't always mean to come off as some kind of lightweight wheel snob or anything. I was really close to buying some Racing Harts before I got my Enkeis and Phen had me lift one of them up and I felt how heavy they are. But of course, my car has a lot less HP than your Larry, but I can feel the difference with heavier wheels (the MB's I bought from Ivan), my stock 16's and my Enkeis when they're mounted on my car. If you want to get wheels, I would save up and buy some lightweight, used, aftermarket wheels. Like the OZ's Chippy and MonkeyAss have are awesome. They look so much better than OEM Mazda wheels (other than maybe the FD's) and perform better. Just gotta hunt for a good deal...

Just an FYI, all Mazdawheels for the most part are 23lbs plus! Even the stockers on the 6 were 23lbs.....Lauri's Mazdaspeed wheels are 23 lbs, they're 18 X 7.5 if you want lightweight wheels, look at the Kosei TS-1's 13.3-13.5 lbs Enkei RPF-1's 15.5 pounds...
