Best place to buy pads and rotors for the MSP?

Just cross reference whatever you are about to buy with fitment for a 2001 626 V6 fronts and 2004 6 rears and you know they will fit the MSP. Don't trust the vendors information to be accurate.

I had a long conversation with Jeff from Tri-point today. He said that Centric does not make a drilled break rotor for the Mazdaspeed protege. He quoted me a price on the slotted rotors and pad. I told him I needed a night to sleep on it. I have been doing some research. Right on Tri-points web site they have drilled Centric stop tech rotors. WTF. Maybe they just didn't update their web site I'm thinking. I know other guys here have drilled rotors. I have been looking around on-line all night. I see cheap drilled rotors all over the place for the MSP. I know I don't need slotted or drilled rotors but I want them. I like the looks. I haven't had a car payment in 6 years. My MSP has 113K on it. This will be the first time I am changing the rotors. I got the money so what the heck.

I have had cross drilled and slotted rotors on my MSP for 5 years now, and I really never felt a difference. The biggest issue is the drilled holes started to crack around the edges. My next upgrade will be Mazda 6 front assemblies and stock rear with some good pads.

Where did you get them from? Apparently centric does not make the drilled rotors for the MSP anymore because they screw up the vein pattern of the rotor. You can get them for the rear that's all. Let me know if you guys have a link to a good set of drilled rotors for the MSP.

I'm guessing you just want them for looks then eh? I suggest reading the material I posted above and save yourself the $$$$

I don't have that much money lying around:)

I talked to tri-point again. They said that centric does not make a drilled rotor for the MSP. Even though it says that right on their web site. I talked to buybrakes.com and the guy said he can get the drilled centric rotors. He quoted me at 530$shipped though. Tri-point quoted me at 375$shipped for the slotted rotors.
