What have you done to your MSP today?

Well yea, they are affordable. I'm 21 years old going to technical school, and unlike the rest of the kids in my neighborhood, mommy and daddy didn't buy me an STI. There is seriously 3 STI's right next to me that are driven by kids no older than me.

Well I wasnt reffering to any particular member in here dont matter if you are old or young, theres plenty of used awd and rwd cars that anybody here can afford, now these days with the global crisis things have changed and things are now cheaper than before...I really dont complaint about what i have, at the end we all have what we want in a way or another.

you can get those cars for NOTHING lol. nobody is buying cars so you really have to go out of your way to sell one. our mx3 has been for sale for a year ++ and even at 1k we cant ger rid of it.

at least when we do, i know we can get my wife a nice auto impreza for next to nothign.

all this talk of racing, yet nobody races...cool dude
if you want to see how fwd compares to awd/rwd, why dont you take your car to a actual track (not a drag strip) and see how you do
racing in a straight line against other cars is retarded

Yea I've been poking around craigslist and searched EVO's for s**** and giggles. I found quite a few in the 15-20k range which is affordable for pretty much anybody that can get a car loan... but they had on average about 70k miles and up! Not only do I refuse to pay that much for a car with that many miles, but it is an EVO so you know it was beat to death every single mile. Oh and the year really didn't matter, cause 03's were going for just as much as an 06. Why the hell would I pay 15-20k for a 7 (or 8 now I guess) year old car? I love EVO's, but they aren't collectors items and the owners think they are. Ok I'm done ranting.

Today I put JB weld on all the connectors for my FIC so I do not have to worry about wires coming loose. Can't wait to get the ECU put back in place. My car needs an interior cleaning BADLY. Exterior is a waste of time, since I washed it last weekend and it was covered in salt the next day.

one more thing to add about the whole racing thing...
drag racing is a race between cars
track racing is a race between drivers
id rather prove driving skills then show off how deep my wallet is...

what kind of tires you got? I don't live in South Florida. I've seen snow before man.....Not your caliber of snow, but snow none the less......

all seasons hahaha with about 25-30% tread. its nothin up here, nobody closes streets or anything. you just gotta take it slow, and dont make any sudden movements. hills are a b**** though, to go up you need momentum so go fast before the hill, going down... a hill... is a different story.

Yeah I'm from Rochester NY originally so I can tell you all about driving in a ton of snow HAHA! We had our regular snow plus all that lake effect BS snow that came in from Lake Ontario.

yeah i get lake effect in Utica where i go to school too, lol

Anyone know the length of the stock front endlinks? Ones i made were too long and no longer on the car... Lol.

Drag racing isn't as over-simplified as you are making it seem, getting traction in a FWD car with any kind of power is difficult to say the least. Drag racing certainly has it's skill requirements. I prefer to take my car to a road coarse but I wouldn't pass up a trip to the strip either.

i bet you southerners are flippin the **** out with that measily 2 inches of snow, lol i drove to work the other day 30 mile commute with a foot of snow and slushy roads with a chance of ice =]

They also plow, salt, and sand the roads a lot more up North than they do down here. And besides, it's almost 5 inches here! (Yes sarcasm is read with that) I'm from Deleware so I'm aware of real snow. The real problem with down here is it always ices over on the road when we have snow, not a chance of it, it just does. It's ok, cause the battery in the MSP is dead as could be, won't even trickle charge. So I'm driving an 88 GMC Detroit Deisel Suburban, can you say heavy, and speed is not a problem in it. I'm lucky to get it to 60 with the wind at my back going downhill on a perfect day.

anyone on here rollin ekm3 wheels? would like to see some hyper silver ones on yellow if its out there. not having luck on my search.
