What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

What was rattling on the exhaust??

there is that odd lip, a pinch weld just above where the exhaust tips are.
If you look under there, they are really close. So if your hangers are super stretched, the exhaust systen moves around quite a bit and tends to rattle against this lip.
Mine are stretched cause in my are i keep hitting the CAT on bumps, curbs, etc etc; pulls & torqs that poor exhaust system. eets getting a bit beat up :(

so once i get new exhaust hangers i can take off my ghetto fab re-enforced hangers. LOL!

Just keep the Speed, Taylor! You know you love it.

Looks like I should have time for a good clean and wax this week since my job was downsized last Wednesday out of the blue. I had planned a rear fender roll and some other small things, but they'll all be on hold now. A good cleaning and maybe even some leather conditioning and interior love should do it some good though, since it has been on the list to do for a long time.

and i got this little dude from mazda

Nice!! I told Amanda to PM you so you could have one :)

Well, as for me and the MS6, I put 3500+ miles on her since Oct. 13th (O_o) Drove her down to San Diego from Seattle and then drove her back up......managed to snap a few pix while on the trip......

Last night, I met my girlfriend's cousin 15-yr-old friend who apparently drives a 92 Civic hatch that pushes 400hp on a stock engine with a Turbonetics piece. This little boy wanted to race me for pinks, cuz the gf's cousin told him about my car. Mind you, the cousin has not ridden in my car. He was only butthurt cuz I make fun of his Geo Metro "tricked out" with a fartcan exhaust tip and underglow.

now, before any mods get upset, I DID NOT street race. I don't participate in that. I just find it funny that this little kid wanted to "race for pinks" in his 400 monkeypower Hon-duh.

Leia got mad at me for not falling for hubris, though...

I seriously doubt a 15yr old having a 400hp civic with just a turbo kit.

Gotcha. I know mine was about 1/4" away from the fake tips. But they never hit.

Just buy mine to match yours. :)

my front rotors are scored to s*** for some reason... itd probably be cheaper to just get new rotors and not turn these old ones that may not be turnable. what rotors should I get? thinking about putting on the hawk HPS pads

Where can one go to get a lil Mazda dude? I figure with 4 Mazdas I ought to qualify as a fan!

OH OH OH!!! i forgot to mention, i dropped of my wheels last Friday @ a powdercoating place. local place is highly recommended to all cali pplz.
anywway, stay tuned for how they turn out, slightly different shade/finish than the ISF wheel color... matching aint easy!

lol no no no. you misunderstand. NOT the fake exhaust tips. Its behind those tips up behind the bumper just above the actualy exhaust tips. if you look under there it is a pinch weld lip that stretches across the car, parrallel to the back bumper. you cut the magnaflow tips just perfectly for me, that aint an issue. :D
