AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

I still have yet to install a Wideband so I can give better answers when that happens but I'm having some sort of issue that I believe is steming from the Split second. I have yet to tune this thing myself I'm kinda scared to. Car throws a P0171 CEL only when the Split second is installed and runs fine on stock ECU. When the Split second is installed at first the car runs a bit crappy and has issues of stalling at idles the the CEL pops on and things run fine. It's like the P0171 CEL makes the car run better. So I just leave it on.
with that said.
Once the P1071 comes on and I come to a stop all is good then when the ECU switches from Closed loop to open loop (or what ever it does when it comes to a stop and idles.) It stumbles. The Vac starts to raise from 20 to 10-15 and RPM drops then the car catches itself and revs, or I just touch the throttle and it corrects the problem. I'll be changing the plugs and oil change and see if that fixes anything.
Does any of this make sense and how the hell do I fix it? I want the car to stay smooth all the time.

Maf has been relocated to the cold pipe for a very long time and BOV is on the Hot Pipe. This really all started right when we installed the Split second. I removed it for about 2-3 weeks and car was perfect so I know it's a Split Second issue I just need to figure out why and how. I really think it has to do with the ECU switching over and it not being a smooth transition with the split second. But that doesnt explain the P0171. Maybe that's just a tune issue.

given that you don't know what your AFRs are, and your ECU is telling you they're lean (if I'm recalling the code correctly), I'd say you need to know more before you can say.

however, assuming the superstockmap is on there, the AFC is doing jack s*** when you're at idle, so I would say its either faulty, or theres a bad connection before I'd say the tune itself is bad.

Your right Carl. I have to get this Wide band installed. The issue is the bung for the wideband is on the midpipe and when I installed the PEP 3" DP it was off like a few degrees so it doesn't seal against the midpipe and I have a huge leak. I'm going to have to cut the mid pipe and install a Flex pipe for it to seal or have Tom send me another one and deal with the Pain in the ass install again. which I don't want to do.

even if theres a leak, the wideband should give you a decent idea of what the AFR is. It may not be exactly right, but it should be close still.

Got the 440 map adjusted, everything is running smooth now except the first couple of rpm till 3k in first gear. Super rich if I dont have the supercharger on. Its way better than being lean...haha

Well tomorrow is going to be EGR install day after work. I'll let you guys know if it fixes my idle. I'm praying it does.

right before my DP completely cracked, my widband said my AFRs at idle was 17:1 and higher. depending on the size of the leak it can be off by a lot.

don't trust your wideband if you have any exhaust leaks

I got so good at getting at the EGR. I cleaned removed and finally replaced that damn thing like 6 times. LOL I can do it in 15 min now. I wish I would have gone with the CAN spec one though. I could have ordered it through O'Rielly's since they have store in CAN. Turns out anything that is sold in CAN can be ordered through your local O'rielly's store. But most employees don't know how to look for it. The Manager I deal with was building a car that had better specs in Canada, and was able to order everything he wanted included the better motor!!

I am running a gt28rs (10psi), corksport dp, corksport 80mm exhaust, fmic. What map should i start with? I have the supermap right now, im not totally sure on how to tune myself so i wanted to get close as possible first and then try to tune it

You could always mess around with it. If it doesnt work out revert back to the supermap. Then again, I just used the 440 injector map as my "base map" then tuned it to my car.

damn why can't I find a non 440cc GT28RS map.
The ones that I have found are all for the 440cc injectors.

Yea its a really easy install. Also the 440 maps are good. (the ones in this thread anyways)
