i dont really know where to post this seeing there is no msf thread but i was wondering is the msp or mp3 parts would be the same because i need new engine mounts and was wondering if i could get them out of the states instead of going to japan?

Well there are obvious differences in the motors and trans. The MSP has LSD and the Turbo kit on it. I dont know if the MP3 has LSD though. Engine mounts are universal amoung the 2.0 engines in the Proteges except for AutoTrans versus Manual I believe.

So your refering to the MP3 here in the states. They basically share all the same things as the MSP but with the differences I stated above. Also there is an MP3 Section.

So you have a 2001 MSF??? did it come turbo'd from the factory? I'm very confused about your car.
Anyway as long as it has the 2.0 FS motor you can order mounts from the MP3 and MSP or Protege5. You should go with a better quality mount other OEM since the stock ones aren't worth s***!! Or you can take your mounts and fill them yourself.
Here's a great place to order your mounts from

and a how too do you own here

Yes i have a msf lol and no i bought it n/a i dont thnk they come turbo, thanks for the help guys

Yea MSF are what we call MP3's here in the states. I believe the states and Canada was the only ones to receive the turbo version of the Protege. Japan has the Mazdaspeed Familia as well but they come with the FS-ZE instead of the turbo FS-DE we have here if I am not mistaken.

Apparently they come with higher compression pistons (10.7:1), and more aggressive exhaust camshaft, specially tuned ECU, 4-2-1 exhaust headers with MazdaSpeed Sport Sound Muffler also 5hp more power over standard FS-ZE engine with all those parts a lightened flywheel and fluid reversion restrictor valve on clutch master cylinder. O that reminds me i dont know if u guys would know if the msf has a restrictor of some sort because i went to buck my gauge the other day, i was in fourth gear and have plenty rpm to go and she wouldnt go any further so i got stuck at 180kph at 6k rpm and kno further

I learned about the MSF playing forza motorsports 2, whoever said you can learn anything from video games! I wish they had them in the states! I'm not sure about the restrictor but my protege dx,msp and friends protege es didn't have restrictors but again its a different part of the world
