i got the 15mm from the offset calculator...... i typed it in, a 8 inch to a 9 inch same offset had a differnce of 15mm outward or inward, i think because like someone previously said it is measured from the center of the rim..... idk just goin by the numbers it gave me.

hmmm... well, offset is measured from the center of the wheel regardless of the width. logic demands that if you add width without changing offset that additional width is split 50/50 between inside and outside edge of the wheel. so if you add 1" in width, the inside of the wheel gets 12.7mm closer to the strut and the outside of the wheel gets 12.7mm closer to the fender.
1/2" = 12.7mm
1" = 25.4mm

if adding 1" in width gets the wheel 15mm closer to the fender then the inside of the wheel would get 10.4mm closer to the strut. only reason the difference would be lopsided like that is if you also changed the offset.

hey man idk im just relaying what it told me, im not doubting the math, cuz i know how many mm in an inch, just lettin everyone now cuz sometimes offset is crazy, lol

^^^^ i have another trunk waiting for paint but i didnt want to put out any more money for a car im selling.. not like i didnt just redo my wheels haha
