What have you done to your MSP today?

Hey who was it in here that said they were going to see if the FPR would solve the p0421 trouble code? Any updates? I'm too lazy to look through my old posts lol.

I've actually found that something as simple as going from 91 octane to 94 octane will take care of the p0421 code (the misfire code, right?) On mine. And yeah, the synchromesh made shifting a lot more pleasurable experience. And on the zoom-zoom boom deal, I'm glad I have a great back up driver. But I'm typically easy on the msp, still on the factory boost, and the wga is holding out, but I have a gt28rs sitting in my bedroom, waiting for the rest of the components to get it installed.

Thad.

I've had the code steady for a few hundred miles now and it's just bugging me. The code is for the farthest cylinder towards the passenger side right? or wrong?

painted calipers

THANKS so much man, I never checked the gap, all of them were almost .045! I haven't driven it yet but I bet it will help.

Yep it was the plugs, now the car runs awesome, pulls hard and smooth. Also did a TB coolant bypass while I was checking the IM bolts.

Wow it must be late and I must be off in lala land. I was thinking something completely different for some reason. Anyway, I think it may be the MAF so that is going to be cleaned soon. I think the oil blowby has soiled it a bit....

Got my MSP BACK! f'en awesome to drive agian. wheelbearings fixed, added the pedder's bushing on the front, corksport 80mm sounds great.

fgarza123, did you use those stickers on ebay that are for the door handles to do the calipers? I have been thinking about doing this with those. Looks really good.

^stickers would fall off, what I would do is paint caliper the color i want the mazdaspeed to be in, then apply sticker, then paint the calipers color i want then remove sticker. this way you dont have to worry about heat causing the sticker to peel
