im about to get the HKS bov from a buddy who is like not into cars anymore he just took it off his evo 9 mr. what do i need to know before installing this bad boy. like vta or recirc. i dont know much about bov's please help a brotha out. any info is good info! i heard i could lose some power by doing this.. i dont want that to happen so let me know please! =)

Best performing bpv for the Speed3 all around is free -- your stock part. Unless you can prove it is leaking, you'll see no gain from replacing it on this platform. If you are determined to replace it to impress people, at least run the new one full recirculate. VTA farts already metered air to atmosphere and screws up your air to fuel ratios.

ok thank you my kind sir thats helpful =). yeah if it wasnt for my buddy basically giving it to me i wouldnt be replacing my stock one.
