prosport gauges

hey guys,

I've been doing some research and am thinking about investing in a cpe triple gauge pod and the prosport gauges. seems like the pod and gauges are both high-quality products with great reviews.

wanted to get some opinions, does anyone think gauge pod setup would be too flashy? specifically in regards to getting noticed by police. right now my car is pretty much a sleeper (dark gray with tinted windows), so I wouldn't want to have these gauge pods lighting up the car and attracting any unnecessary attention.

maybe I'm overanalyzing it but let me know your thoughts.

thx

^^+1 I have one too and it looks awesome. Go with the premium though

cool,,,,

how is it in the summer though, is there a noticeable decrease in air conditioning because the vent is mostly blocked?

p.s. - It was 95 here in boston yesterday, and I swear I got like 15 MPG on my ms3. redonculous.

The a/c air flows around the gauge. It works well, but you can't alter the direction of the air.

I had some prosports in my evo before the ms3 and have no complaints. If you don't want everyone to see ur gauges in ur window do a steering column cover. If nobody makes a ms3 specific one that goes over the stocker just get a universal one they work just as well just need more work to get them on.

im about to get some gauges for my pillar.. you guys honestly think that is gonna attract attention from the fuzz? i mean i already drive a bright true red ms3 with exhaust.. how much more can gauges do haha

I don't think it will add that much attention. I think you'll attract more if you have a loud exhaust. The pillar gauges are more visible imo.

I have prosport premium oil and fuel pressure gauges. My opinion is that they are cheap quality gauges but they do what they are supposed to do. The main thing I don't like about the premium gauges is the beep when they turn on. Quality gauges would be aem, plx, defi but with true quality gauges come a big price tag.

You can disable the beep, hold the button as your start your car

my prosport mechanical gauge just took a crap on me. I think its the sender which I hear is common. Time for a new one

I have a prosport premium electric boost gauge in the right drivers vent. It's awesome with the opening cerimony sweep.
