More wind resistance lol...especially with a bike on it. I've never actually seen this car with a bike on that roof rack, and he lives like a hour from me. But in his defense, I've only seen his car like 2-3 times, lol.

Ya, I'm all about function. I wouldn't get a roof rack unless I was going to use it. And even tho I have a snowboard, I don't use it locally enough that I can justify needing one around here. And I rarely drive when I do go to the bad slopes around here anyways. I usually only go when there's a lot of snow on the ground and the Protege isn't the best in those situations, lol. Although I do like how they look...

I was thinking more along the lines of skis, snowboards, luggage, but ya those too. And besides, I don't plan on having any of those around for quite some time.
