Hey just wondering if anyone has custom painted their car? since the car has good angles (1st gen) I think it would be cool if that color shifting paint was used, any thoughts?

Post your car if it's been custom painted.

I'm sure they're out there. If you're going to pay to have your car painted might as well do something different. With 40k miles my whole front end could use a paint job, even with the touch ups I've done. bad factory paint.

Im very fortunate that I was able to get clear bra on the entire front end before the car even saw 7 miles, what a great investment.

I actually liked the paint job that my spicey MSP had. It was orange, but had a yellow sparkle to it in the sun. Looked amazing after a wax.

too bad this isn't street legal...

Who said that isn't legal on the roads??? I have a friend that had his car painted in a chrome effect similar to that and it was SIIIIIIIIIIICK!!! I almost did that with my past show car but NO one in the east coast knew what I was talking about nor how to do it.....:'(

Yea that would be sweet, I think the MSP are pretty bad ass with any super bright colors...

I'm with Sally. I get so depressed when I wash my car and I get to my hood. This paint sucks, at 35k miles I really want to have my hood repainted. My car being black it shows the chips more :(

Just let your wife crash it like I did! fresh paint on the entire front end, lol

I would definitely consider painting my car spicy orange. Would be better off starting with a black car so I didn't have to paint the engine bay..

yeah, thats the problem with custom painting a factory car...you have to deal with the engine bay, door jams...etc

That's definitely a photoshop, nevertheless it looks pretty cool.

Come on hasn't anyone custom painted their car yet? :)

Probably because it takes some cash to get it done right. Most people driving this car would opt for a BT build rather than a fresh new paint.
