Intro - New guy

Greetings!

Just thought I'd introduce my self My name is Eric and I reside in Central Florida - 30yrs old.

I've had a 08' Mazdaspeed 3 since 07' 31Aug so I'm not exactly new to the car. I've been lurking a few Mazda forums and think this one is the best so I went a head and signed up! I hope I can be an asset and learn a thing or two in the process

I've lurked on this other “Mazdaspeed” specific forum for a while just checking it out and found it to be a total joke! They have this "thank you" and "groan" feature that determines what your "rep score" is.

So what happens is members (the mental weak ones) get together and form these little clicks and start "groaning" and attacking people out of spite. Then I hear they have this “rep thread” where VIP members go to get as many “rep points” as they want just for saying anything! Members are immediately banned for asking questions about the ridiculous "rep score" gimmick. Anyways, it's a horrendous excuse of an online forum -beware.

This forum seems well above and beyond the professionalism and maturity of that pathetic excuse of an organization. So that’s a complaint to the owner, moderators and members of this forum  I will recommend this forum to the people I know.

Welcome to the forum. I'm with ya on the other forum. They seem to attack people just for kicks. Not trying to bash them since I don't know them, but that was my first impression. The majority of folks on this forum are professional, courteous, and helpful. Just an all around welcoming environment.

LMFAO! Yeah they think they're "Hardcore" because they talk s***, talk about racing on public roads and have no moderation. And half the moderators are dumb as a box of rocks! When they feel intellectually threatened by a member they ban them immediately! I don't know how many times I've witnessed this happen..

There’s a group of maybe 10 burnt out – low life members that go around bashing anyone who calls them out for who they are. The pathetic thing is that the Moderators side with this group of dildos! Oh and they go around begging for donations!!

Anyways thanks for the warm welcome! And it’s nice to know I wasn’t losing my mind lol 

Yeah, that's the biggest reason I stay away from that site. Its not moderated, so a bunch of them think it makes them big and bad for attacking people. Just immature imo. So got any mods? Or future plans?

Yeah I tried the supposed "fix" from Cobb but it didn't work for mine

Cobb told me to mail it back to them so they could try to fix the problem.

It's in route.

Not sure what the "error codes" were but it says something like "unable to communicate with device" or some crap like that.

I don't have any pics current but I could take some. It's nothing special though, just a stock looking black mica. I live off of Red Bug lk rd & Tuskawilla - Winter springs.

I am also new and i have had fun seeing other people's cars and trying to think about what I want to do to mine. All performance is stock with some minor cosmetic things. I absolutely love my speed 3 and cant wait to mod up.

Oh yeah?

- Ask/ mention anything about their lame "thank you / groan" operation and see how quickly you get banned and insulted to no end.

- Donations? same deal. They beg and when you say anything against it they insult to no end.

- Show you have an opinion unique of the the outspoken minority (the ones that basically control the forum) see how quickly you get banned and insulted to no end.
