What have you done to your P5 today?

I forgot the magenta.

Miatas are chick cars.

Calmer than you, dude.

They weigh in @ ~14lbs ea. That's the deal, lol.

And many ppl would disagree with you. I think they look fine on a BJ that is stanced properly.

I will admit that I like them on HKPro5s car, but 16s are too small for my taste.

FDs are sexy as hell.

It all goes on taste at the end of the day...my gold RX8 setup came in when I wanted to completely fill the fenders and MSPs were being had for the same price. So needless to say, get the 18s for the price of 17s...easy call to make. The ride is harsher and the car does bounce, but I'm getting used to it.

P5s are a wicked ride value wise and it's great that so many mods and looks actually work with this platform.

Did anyone catch that article in Car and Driver with the VW Golf and how they tested 15", 16", 17", 18" and 19" wheels on it and did comparison tests? Pretty good article. I'll try to find it online...

Only thing is with more power other things come into play such as having a larger footprint for traction to make up for more weight. Also thinner sidewalls for stability. I don't know what 15" wheels they used but my 18's with 225/35/18 nittos weigh very close to 40lbs.

Here are the weights and other key results if you don't get the Magazine
Size Weight 0-60 MPG Skidpad Tire weight from tire rack for the Eagle GT
15" 40 Lbs 7.6 sec 23.3 .83g 24 Lbs
16" 46 Lbs 7.7 sec 22.9 .85g 25 Lbs
17" 48 Lbs 7.8 sec 22.8 .85g 25 Lbs
18" 51 Lbs 7.9 sec 21.9 .89g 26 lbs
19" 54 Lbs 7.9 sec 21.1 .88g 27 Lbs

You've never heard someone say a car has an "aggressive stance" or something similar?

Ok, how about "lowered" & wheels w/ a nice "offset."

Does that compute? (rofl2)

Saying a car has a nice stance is different from saying it's been "stanced right" (rlaugh)

Only bcuz you like nit picking. Just sayin... (shrug)

(blah)

When someone doesn't phrase something exactly right, but you still understand what they mean. Why act like it's retarded?

For future discernment, "stanced right" is the exact same as saying "properly stanced."

Stanced right.
Properly stanced.
Hella flush.
Hella Slammed
Hella Sunk.

All in the same boat. All of them taking aesthetics over function. All of them retarded. Just sayin'.

You're being very narrow/closed minded. (shrug)

Another word for closed-minded is ignorant. Just sayin.

Since this was my example on the last page of a good looking BJ w/ fd's on and a good stance:

O ya! Thats SUPER hELLA FLUSH YO! (headshake

Nick's car is sexy. . . . FD's and FX-35 projectors

and i'm not narrow minded, to each his own, even if i don't understand it, just like many don't understand my lights obsession

BUT, it's always function over forum for me.

I rode around in my buddies SLAMMED civic lastnight (doing a retrofit with him for his car) and i don't see the fascination of having to find other roads to get places cause you can't make it over the water drainage channel on the road or get into the driveway. . .
