What have you done to your MS3 today?

started working on some MS3 center caps for the 19s

You know you are getting old when you add parts to your car to make it quieter.

If you want to combat drone, you should try sound deadening material or placing a resonator in the test pipe, which sits right under the cabin. If you are just looking for an all around quiet exhaust (even at the tip), I'd go with a big-ass chambered muffler and a couple resos.

Did you photoshop out the holes on your hatch or did you get them filled and the hatch repainted?

I sprayed the tails, base coat clear coat with a transparency additive. Will spray the 3rd brake light today. Thought red would be different!

Now that I'm looking at it, I am going to do a badge delete too. Not Yellow sold me on it. Will need a little body work on the holes and a gate repaint.

yeah...I'll have to continue to park far away from anyone because they are red too! The lights are still bright, but I can't assume people will be smart enough to know they are back up lamps.

ha! yeah, i photoshopped the two little plugs in the hatch. i'm just in the habit of blanking/fuzzing the plate and chopping the holes. here's the only shot of the plugs i have uploaded at the moment. this is what it actually looks like:

when you pull off the emblem there are two pins that each have a clear plastic sleeve on them. i pulled off the sleeves, filled them with spackle(could use bondo or any body filler), sanded the tops flush, few coats of body matching touch up paint right on the end, and they snap right back into the holes!

Hey, it still looks great... even with the two little plugs. They are barely noticeable.

yeah, they are pretty subtle... and far better than a big chrome emblem in my opinion. i think i'm going to delete the rear wiper next to keep with my theme.

I'd remove my wiper if it wasn't for the fact that I use it all the time.

whats the best method for removing the emblem without breaking the pins?...carefully pulling it off, or would it be better to push it off from inside the hatch?
