You don't have to go to the dealer and you don't have to mess with refill inserts on the new-style rear wiper blades. To my knowledge, there's only one aftermarket rear replacement but I found it and it works great: Trico Exact Fit Rear Integral Blade. It snaps right onto the special rear arm and looks like the factory original. You can get them online.

I dont know if its just me or not, but I actually like having the rear wiper. The rain we have had the last couple days, it has really proved its worth. Plus, Ive never had any issues with its performance either. It wipes clean and clear for me.

The point is that the blade is available and you don't have to go to the dealer nor mess around with refill inserts. I'd love to report that you can get them under various brand names, but the fact is that you can't - no one else makes them to my knowledge...

So after 5 minutes of investigation...you, Jeff, are the president of a website that sells trico wiper blades in Waterford, WI, correct? ( I know this is by the way) So, seriously, a wiper vendor would be a good vendor to have so why don't you actually become an authorized vendor instead of flying under the radar here? PM me to talk about the application.

I just replaced my wiper blade on my '07 MS3. I bought a 14" Duralast wiper (the Autozone I went to didn't sell refills) and I had it in my car when I went to the dealer to get an oil change*. The tech said he'd put it in for free so I was like "cool!".
They weren't actually able to get the blade on the wiper so they gave it back to me. I decided I'd try it myself (I guess I'm arrogant) and was able to, eventually, get the Duralast blade on the MS3 wiper harness (I don't know what to call it). It was a big PITA and took me about ten minutes (I can see why the dealer techs gave up). The Duralast blade has two metal strips that can fall off the blade rather easily and contribute to making the installation a real hassle.

Anyway, my point is: yeah it takes longer than it has to, but it's still a ten minute fix with a normal, everyday blade that you don't even need to find on the internet.

I'll be looking for the Bosch wipers next time.

* I used to go to the dealer with my own oil, oil filter, and air filter and they would charge me something like $12 for the labor. A deal if you ask me. This time it was something like $28 (different owners). That might have been my last dealer oil change...
