yea i know, i used to laugh it off when people did that too

but you can beleive im takin all my s*** out of my car when i leave it from now on
radio, shift knob, gauges, ipod, whatever is in my car, its goin out or locked in the glove box
im gonna look into an alarm system too

on the way!

sweet!

Dont bother locking ur glove box, just take the ish out. If the glove box is locked chances are if they broke into ur car a lil lock aint gonna stop em from destroying ur dash or worse tryna get in.

Also I dont know about the US but in Canada if you tell ur insurance u have an alarm u get a bit of a discount.

I read about a guy in Toronto who had left his wallet full of $ ipod, stereo and all kinds of other valuables. The damn theifs broke in right in his drive cleaned the car out. And the alarm didnt go off. Its not something u wanna cheap out on.

Orlando is about the worst place for break ins too. I was out in winter park at my girlfriends apartment for one night a couple years ago, I woke up to my car sitting on a block of wood, with no rims, no passenger window, no intake, no stereo, and most of my other belongings missing. The alarm wasn't a deterrent either.

being paranoid and taking everything out of the car is the only thing that will help to prevent it in the future in my opinion.

To the OP, glad you got everything settled as far as insurance stuff goes. Good luck working out the other drivability issues.

figure i would update since im getting posts lol
i got all the driving problems figured out, the high idle is completely gone
the fluctuating AFR's are still there but it only happens when the car just warmed up and im cruising around 50mph, thinkin it may be cuz i deleted the EGR

still waiting on insurance money, but im happy with the car how it is right now so im not in a rush to buy anything which is good
but one problem came up, the oil pressure gauge went all the way to full pressure, which means the ground is bad
so i have to check that out tomm

messing around a little today, im tryin to make a custom side exhaust from stock exhaust peices, got it cut and welded up already
only problem is its a little short, so i have to go buy some generic clamp on tip or something to lengthen it so it shoots out right by the sideskirt and not under the car

dont judge me yet, itll look good i promise lol

also ordered a air filter for my turbo finally, should be here by thursday, YAaAy

installed my filter :) fits perfectly, i probably could have gotten away with getting a regular straight filter instead of the offset one but who cares
ill post pics and vids in a minute of my side exhaust and a pic of where the deer ran into the side of my car last night :(

stay tunneeedd

so which filter did you order? i need to be looking for when i get my turbolife. and are you going to the Friday night meet?
