MidPipes

Looking to purchase a midpipe with or without the J-pipe as well. I know SLS performance sells one, but I wanted to see if anyone else sells one.

IRCC? Need the cat... I know SLS runs about $270 all together. Wouldn't it be cheaper just to have someone weld me a similar pipe?

yeah most shops won't touch the mid pipe due to the cat. At least here in IL I think they are by law only allowed to install OEM cats. I needed to have the stocker cut off due to a stripped nut and my mechanic that has done a ton of huge favors for me kept making sure that I knew he was just cutting the bolt and that I would have to remove the mid pipe myself at home.

Thanks for the info. I got a quote for a full turbo-back exhaust from one6 motors, can't really afford the whole thing right now. Hoping they'll make me a jpipe/midpipe. If not, looks like SLS is the only option. Good/bad things about this product?

I had an ApexR1 mid pipe that was great. but upgraded that to a Perrin full exhaust. Cheap the for sale section. They come up quite a bit pretty cheap.

Saw the ebay ones. I need the cat though and unfortunately the perrin exhaust is catless. Thinks its between the MAM and SLS midpipe at this point.

why do you need the cat?? I live in IL and don't have a Cat!!!! If it's for emmisions just run the Non fouler trick like the one most of us run. I'm actually only about 30 min from you off of 55. You should meet up with us, we have tons of meets over the summer, check out the IL section of the board. Our meets are posted.

Looks like I'm going to do this non-fouler trick then, seems easy enough. Plus, the price difference between the SLS and ebay version puts extra cash in my pocket for other mods. Ordering a ton of parts this week, after their installation I'd love to come out to a meet. Had the car for almost 5 years now, about time I get involved hahaha
