Genuine AutoExe carbon Short Ram Intake, including the stock plastic piping! :D Got it for a pretty penny, just unsure when I will fit it...

So after my dilemma with the intake(the full CAI sucked up water, MAF was drenched!), I threw the SRI in! :D

Took it for a drive before, it definitely has a heap more power from the get go, and the noise is just pure porn! :D

So I received my 3M carbon di-noc vinyl yesterday, so in between watching home and away & Top Gear, I knocked this up!:D

All I can say is that this product is soo easy to work with, very malible, and you can reheat (with a heatgun, I used the missus hairdryer) to bring its adhesivness back ;)

And the finished product back in the car! :D:D

So I am over the chrome look on the car, so I decided a nice shade of grey was on order for my badges :D Basically bathed them in bleach over a couple days, cleaned, primed & painted this afternoon...

I'll give the car a clean tomorrow afternoon and take some daytime shots, but these will do for now ;)

Well I intsalled the Scan Gauge II I received from Mat yesterday, and went for a drive to the coast for the day, basically I have set it up and got some interesting results in regards to average L/100kms;

Ipswich > Gold Coast - Air Con on - 7.5-8.0L/100kms
Gold Coast town driving - Air Con on - 9.5L/100kms
Gold Coast > Ipswich - Air Con off - 6.5L/100kms

The Instantaneous KW is a nice feature through X-Gauge (add in gauges), and only works when the foot is on the pedal, was able to get 82Kw at 5500rpm in second :p Im just not sure if thats suppose to be at the flywheel or the wheels  Also, when the car is at a standstill, it'll read around 3.0Kw, not sure why, Im thinking something to do with the engine at idle...

I did discover last night I had a couple CEL codes, but accidentally deleted them before finding out what they were  the car seems to run better with clearing them though, so quite puzzled...

Anyways here's a pic of it, mounted it on the column as anywhere else, I'd have to look away from the road to see it, but it doesnt mess around with the existing gauges:

Best lookin EDM BJ I've seen........keep it rollin!

Haha cheers mate! :)

Tried the mazda6 wiper, bought one off ebay being told it was a mazda 6 unit, then to fit it up and find out it doesnt clear the spoiler, bastards sold me a mazda3 unit  Long story short, basically destroyed the new wiper getting it off, and furthermore this happened :(

and its more JDM/ADM then edm :p

Thanks Cres ;)

Decided im going to clean up the frontend, and will order some foglight deletes from onlinemazdaparts :D Although it'll end up costing $90aud landed, I see it as a worthwhile investment if I do find someone to ship a autoexe/DGM or MSP 03.5 lip to the land down under, at a reasonable price...

So I had some fun at a club skidpan day :D

Was a great day, only let down was I lacked somewhat in the tyre department, so will be getting some sticky Kumho's & an upgraded rear swaybar, and I should have a stable little hatch ;)

ooo, looks like a bit too much fun...what happened to the rr drvr side door/fender arch?

jeez, the rear of that car is ******* clean, i need to get on some jdm tails and source some edm bumpers from somewhere lol
keep up the good work man!

Hehe thanks, you wouldnt believe how many people PM me asking where I sourced the bumper from, until I tell them that its standard equipment in Australia (evil)

sell me ur old tail lights!

Sorry bud, the altezza's are long gone, but if you meant the JDM's, they aint coming off (evil):p

Hey mate, just curious about the carpet bit on top of the dash, does it help protect the dash from heat/sun?

Basically, good investment if you ask me, as I have seen some BJ's in Aus that havent been protected, and crack badly :(
