Oh how I wish my front bumper and grille looked that good. Mine has taking a hell of a beating this winter. Lots of touching up to do.

lol. It looks that nice because its a new bumper, and i was just taking the car back from the bodyshop.

Just rolled on exactly 36,000 miles when I pulled into work today. Took a pic to celebrate.

I was just going to comment that it looked like new. So nice and shiny!

Thanks for the tip Bova, I'll pick up a couple of worm gear clamps to replace the existing.

Boosted, that engine bay is just sick sick sick. Very nice job.

tried searching and didn't find anything but has anyone ever ran open downpipe on the stock DP? worth doing it?

Just from following along, I think the downpipe is recognized as the biggest restriction in the entire exhaust, so you get big gains from replacing it, moderate gains from replacing the 2nd cat (racepipe), and mostly just a change in sound (and minor gains) from replacing the rest of the catback. So running an open downpipe might attract more attention than you want, and not give you the gains you are hoping for.

I've ran around the block with the test pipe out to see how loud it would be. It sounds like a Cessna taking off, and drones horribly.

If you're looking to do a DP upgrade, make sure the one you get is catted. It'll keep the sound to a reasonable level, and also help the turbo a bit by providing a bit of back pressure (ours need it). DPs like the ATP catted and CP-e catted would be my suggestions.

Just ordered my replacement set of DDM Raptor 35w H11 6000k fog light HIDs. I lost the ballast and ignitor on my drivers side fog, and need a replacement. This will give me a full set of bulb spares, and one ballast/ignitor as a backup.

Total Cost for Repairs are- $1549.37. The list for things to be repaired is quite long. I'm going up to the dealership to verify exactly what is getting replaced. 5 business days to complete the work. Small Claims court here I come!

What's your deductible for that damage?

I would certainly hope so. Have the police questioned said douchebag yet?

Nothing from them, I'll be giving them a call today as well. My girlfriend and I went up to turn in the paperwork on the restraining order. I'm sure he is sweating bullets right now.

I noticed a huge gain in low rang torque with the corksport DP. A little bit more top end. Catted down pipe is your friend. Mine will make you smell like gas if you get out of the car. For some reason the wind always blows the exhaust fumes toward my door when I open it.

Yeah there is an evo owner near where I live that drives by all the time. Smells so bad. Here in FL we don't have emission checks but damn. I would be willing to pay the extra 100 for a cat just for karmas sake.
