I'm on 550cc injectors. With all the mods that have been done to the car, I'm running about 80 more hp at the wheels than stock. We used other things when we lit the fire, but that box helped a little bit. Haha.

Yeah, between all the piping, bigger intercooler, 550cc injectors, Hydra Nemesis standalone, no cat and 3" all the way back... she runs a little rich.

so how heavy do you think our engine is?

i'd like to drive to chicago and back to pick up one that i found, but don't really know if it's handleable or if it could fit it the trunk without breaking things... my back being one of them.

They are freakin heavy. I just finished my cousing Toyota swap and I messed up my back lifting his automatic tranny to align it to the motor. His is just a 1.8 DOHC. I just read another member was able to put a longblock in his P5 and drove it home without any problems. But he had the help of an engine lift to put it into the car...

if so i shouldn't have a problem, except for the sedan trunk space...

Yeah- we still have the engine hoist. Are you buying just a long block or does it have the intake and exhaust mani? You could take those off and probably fit it in the trunk. I'm not too keen to let people borrow my car... Sorry, mate. heh-heh. Phen might let you borrow his, he's only got 2 other back up cars. haha

well i think that it does have both mani's on, but it wouldn't take more than 10min to take them both off, so i'm thinking that it might just fit in my trunk.

just joking on the car borrowing, lol, i think it could fit in my car!

I'm pretty sure Phen is planning on keeping the engine hoist for a while, no worries. And that damn Toyota is out of the garage so I'm down for another swap whenever you're ready. (But ask Phen too.)
