The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Oh I'm down. I'm just now starting to get back into the mindset where I actually enjoy working on the cars again. Too many of Dan's projects that he brings over have bit me in the ass hard and have caused me to not want to pick up a wrench. I believe that's beginning to change.

well that's good! and trust me, i want to almost all of the work! i love to do this stuff, i'll never just try an pawn anything off on you guys!
it's just really nice and helps to have a couple friends with a quite a bit more knowledge and tools than i do! :)

Hahaha, no worries there man. Evan and I typically don't work on the same projects much unless the other needs a hand. We have two different styles of working on the cars.

His: Methodical, slower paced but very detailed and careful
Mine: **** it, throw me that wrench! I'll teach this ******* bolt!

LOL!!! So true... But yeah, I've lived in an apartment pretty much my whole adult life and trying to work on cars is tough when your landlord is bitching at your because you're changing your wiper blades in the parking lot. "No working on cars, Mr. Lewis!". I've been fortunate enough to work in small shops with cool bosses who let me work on my cars at work. But now that I have a garage (and Phens propane heater FTW and access to his tools) it's certainly a lot more fun and the work doesn't need to be rushed. But I understand wanted to do all the work yourself and he and I will just offer a hand or knowledge whenever needed. No worries, mate!

And hand you beers when needed. hahaha. And probably a few one-liners as well.

I wonder if I could swap the motor in my Vibe to a Mazda motor just so I know people who can work on it if anything goes wrong..

Jasen, I know the 1.8liter DOHC Toyota Matrix/Pontiac Vibe motor like the back of my hand now since I swapped my cousins Matrix motor. haha! If you have any problems with it, bring it on up to Lewis/Timko Motorsports Inc. Or as my girlffff call us when we're together; SpheVan.

219k miles on the car and it still runs like a champ. Only things I need to fix are emergency break that busted and shattered on the freeway, fog lights that are broke, find out how to bend my driver door so it seals properly, and under body plastics.

^^^ Phen, you know that's the same day as our fender rolling party, right? Looks like we will have to move it to the weekend before.

its the only date the dyno was open in april, the 24th was already scheduled... damn, im sorry guys

Screw you, Monkey Ass.

Nah- I'm sure we can push it forward a week, no worries.
