What have you done to your MSP today?

i still have the new mount to put in, im just gonna cruise for a while and see how the three work out, it doesnt feel that bad, actually i still feel my exhaust more then the vibrations, the only time i notice it is when the cd head unit folds down to insert a CD, that thing looks like it about to bounce right out of its holder. But what i can say is my front and pass side mounts where done.. i mean they where pretty much there not holding anything, the little pieced of rubber connected where just seperated and a good amount of spaceing inbetween

They sold the car to you and didn't know it had a turbo? LOL! Also, did they realize there are no actual speakers in the rear deck?

they realized after the person on the phone went over the whole list of mazaspeed items compared to the reg pro. The service manager and service guys didn't know, even though it they did the factory certifacation for it.

I swapped my Familia badge for a 323 badge today.

So I'm looking for suggestions on some new tires for my 17x7 MB weapons to use as a strictly spring / summer setup. I have been running Hankook Ventus (V2 I think?) and they are pretty bad in the snow obviously but I think they are rather good performance wise. Only complaint is that I put them on when I bought the car and so far I've put about 14k on it. Well I had the tires rotated in December and they were reading 4/32. So they are pretty much shot now I would think. Does that seem like an average life span?

Regardless, I am wondering if Hankook would be a good brand to stick with, or if there are any others out there (in the same price range) that would suit me better? I would like them to be safe in the rain as well. Thanks.

When I was shopping tires I went to the Tire Rack site where you can compare like-type tires and read reviews from the Tire Rack staff and from past users of the tires. They have a nice spreadsheet that shows ratings of all sorts for performance tires; dry handling, wet, snow, noise, comfort, tread life, etc. After I did my research (remembering that wet handling is a major consideration in Oregon) the tires I liked best in my limited price range were the Ventus and Yokohama S-Drives. I ended up getting the S-Drives.

I will check that out. Thanks man.

I got Hankook RS2 on my weapons and they're great. Not sure if they're still selling them. If u got a few extra coins i would recommend the star specs.

-not sure about ss brake lines. i know ss clutch line makes a big difference.

Well I did the little questionnaire on tire rack and came out with the Hankook V12's lol. Whatever rubber I decide to get, I can't wait to get my damn wheels on! If I'm lucky I might even be sporting my new FMIC by springtime :D

i had to take a part in just to prove that they due exhist! They kept trying to sell me a p5 fog delete cover and not a 03.5 delete cover. I only needed one side that day.(screwy)

Edit: here is the best part.... its all aftermarket but they wanted 1.8k for the turbo exhuast mani( I guess they only stock that one "aftermarket" part for out cars)

Yeah... why would you buy a Garrett turbo from Mazda for more than you can get it from aftermarket? You can get the GT28rs for like $900

^He said Exhaust Mani, not turbo?
