Aftermarket shocks are recommended, but yes, they'll fit your stock shocks w/o modification.
 
D2's are popular with the altima crowd idk how they are on proteges I'd assume the quality is about as good

i have a question if someone can help me..i find eibach ground control coil and i would like to know if it fit on my tokico hp shocks and if this coil is good

kyb struts with ground control

I got a set of kyb gr2 struts, and ordered a set of ground control coilover sleeves with eibach springs from the ground control website. i specified that i had kyb struts but they do not fit. the rears fit just fine but the front struts have a different cap on the shock body itself which the sleeve does not fit around. is this a mistake by ground control on the shipping? or has anyone else ran into this problem?
 
you have to pop the cap off, slide on the threads then put the cap back on.
 
ahh, sorry for that, I thought they were heated. While neither is good, glad they're cut over heated.
