Anyone live in Chicago and want to make a quick $50 bucks?

thanks for everyones help, great community you have here, it will be nice to be part of it soon. the car was definetely wacked up front, 0 tread on tires, and looked abused so I will pass. It would end up costing the same as a local one thats ready to go.

so GoFast got back to you about it eh?

Well we all knew it was too good to be true. a little dinged up.
All in all it would be a gamble concerning the engine... could be purely light body dmg, or coulda been also engine issues... and with an aftermarket intake in there too.. HMmmm....

prolly for the best... Good luck with your search and your next MS6 choice! I know you will really enjoy the car!

It's for the better...bald tires = very little to no scheduled maint.

I'm surprised that a dealer would try to sell it with baldies...unless they were going to "throw in" a new set just for purchasing at full price. Sorry bud.

Now, if I can just figure out how to get those wheels...

Interesting theory, considering "brand new" tires would mean the same thing. Indicating that it was probably traded in with baldies and the dealership replaced the tires.

i checked the car out for him yesterday and yea def not worth it, but yea I never saw those rims before and in person so many times better then the already nice pics. Im shocked more people dont have them. are they that expensive?

Dang Nate, that's true too.

But I digress, if the baldies are still on the car, that would simply be one more sign of abuse or neglect, at which point you should run, run, away. Someone could put new tires on it to hide other problems, but that's again the time to remain vigilant. So instead of running now, you wait 5 minutes and then run.

I like the fact that he had someone else check it out for him, instead of looking at pics. That and all of the comments that he received from the rest of us. Better to spend 3-4k more and get a very nice used car, than a polished turd.

Ya thanks again guys very useful help. The auto check score was squeaky clean and showed no accidents. Guess that's why you can only trust them so much

Nate's right...the front-end looks a bit misaligned, especially the driver-side photo. The grill opening shouldn't be that wide at the hood, and the hood should follow the same line from fender to fender.

Maybe why the use of creative camera angles - to obfuscate.
