Painting them myself. I have painted a few bumpers, sideskirts, and wings in the past. Got an amazing paint gun but only a 6 gallon air compresor which makes painting a little difficult sometimes but it works.

Yah, there is alot! to know about painting. I know enogh to make it look pretty good but if you have pretty good surroundings aka both or makeshift booth, and good equipement then you can do a great job.

10/10/09 UPDATE:
Bin a little while since I have done an update so here go's. I removed the three luggage strips from my roof, filled in the holes, and painted. I did not do that great of a job but it looks ok for now. I will have to repaint the whole roof next year but might just wait till I can get my whole car repainted. I also tinted my corner lights. I wanted to tint them to get rid of the blurred trim on the edges of the light but did not want to have to tape of the lights so I just sprayed the whole thing. I think I did them a bit to dark and not sure if I like them so I might be getting some new corner lights. So here are some updated pics of the whole car. The car is a little dirty though. Enjoy!
Also I got my wheels back finally from the machine shop and I will be dropping them off to get powdercoated on Monday. So if I can get some tires for them you might see some pics by next weekend for some autox. It will be my first autoX with this car so should be interesting. Might also put my springs on before then as well.

Dropped the wheels off to get powdercoated today! Finally chose gold for the wheel color. Its a little darker bronzish gold though with a high gloss finish. Should look pretty sweet! Can't wait!

One of my local powdercoating shops was running a deal for $30 per wheel. It is usually $35-$38 per wheel at most shops.
Trying but there not easy to get. Either you have to pay up the yang to ship one or you have to be one of the lucky few that actually find one locally.

10/25/09 UPDATE:
Got a few good updates for you all!
First up is I finally found and bought an RS hood today. Took off my hood and went and picked it up today. So on to the pic's. I thought is was a good pic opp with my hood off so I will start with those. I only got a cell pic of the hood on the car for it needs to be painted so you get the picture, but it is in great shape and I got it for a great price:

Next up I got my wheels back from the powdercoater. Sadly this will only be a teaser pic for I wont get these mounted till the spring for these will be my summer wheels only. Plus winter wheels and tires are on my need to buy list before summer tires. On to the pics:

Yep, go back a few pages. They are scion tc oem wheels. 17" wheels and they only weigh 19lbs. Pretty good for OEM. I had to get the center machined out a few mm's though to make them fit my car, and then of coarse as you can see I got them powdercoated.

Got some oem wrx wheels yesterday for my winter setup. Just need to find some snow tires for them now. I will also be painting them

First up my new winter setup! Gold OEM WRX wheels with almost new Hankook Ice Bears! I was board last weekend so I went for a drive and did a bit of a photoshoot to get some new pics of the wheels:

Looks good the only thing I would change so far is the front turn signals and go a lot lighter personally.
