And again! I'm on MAF sensor number 3 currently. :/
have you tried cleaning them instead of replacing? they have electronic parts cleaner you can spray in there
There's an act out there that I feel some of the posters in this thread need to be aware of. I believe it is called the magnusson-moss act. It concerns warranties provided on vehicles. A warranty provider CANNOT deny warranty claims (or upfront charge you) based on aftermarket parts unless they can PROVE the part caused the damage. And in this case, you can take that proof (in writing) to the aftermarket part manufacturer and usually get it repaired at their expense.

Tell this to Mazda...they seem to play by their own rules!!!
I'm on 48K now and my CEL is on.. would it be the purge valve solenoid? I checked the gas cap and it is sealed tight.
How much would this cost me to get this fixed? I will go to autozone to get the CEL code and will let you know.
I just got my 4th (or 5th) CEL but my first one with my intake on. So I swapped my intake back to stock and my CEL is gone, could this be because I disconnected the battery ? And if it is because I disconnected the battery will the CEL come back on eventually or not ? It's been about 3 days now since I went back to stock and the CEL hasn't come back on or should I just take it to the dealer anyway ? Thanks
Yeah, you have to pull the code first before we can say anything about it...well, anything sensible anyways. If you have a 2006, it should be covered still under the bumper to bumper warranty. I'd think it would be covered under the drivetrain warranty (which goes up to 60K), since it's part of the engine, but warranties are tricky things sometimes.
Get the code and let us know.
