Mobil1 Full Synthetic Extended Performance, 5 Quarts for $20 with a Mobil1 filter through Autozone...you can't beat that...I say NO...

It runs well, it's just like any other oil I put in my car. And idk how many miles, I usually don't go by that, I just go by how long I had it for (so far like 4 months lol) or what it looks/feels like. I'm a slacker when it comes to oil changes, well not really it's just my family never had problum with oil, my dad didn't change his oil in a year, he has a f250 from 2000 with 150k miles on it, still runs as good as new, we never had any issues with it, same with my moms car.

But any synthetic oil will be about the same, it's more of a brand thing to me then anything else.

In all honesty I think all synthetic oil is probably the same. We use Mobil Delvac1 at work in our Semi's and we go 100,000 miles on it. I know diesels are different but we also use it in the bosses pickups and go 10,000 on those, 5,000 on the filter. I use regular oil in my other car and change it every 5,000 miles, 180,000 on it now. I think it all depends how you drive it too. Synthetic won't break down that easily so I think it's only worth it if you use it like it's intended. It's pointless using synthetic if you change it every 3,000 miles, it'll be wasting good oil.

well figuring i drive 62 miles round trip to work 5 days a week and about 200 miles every weekend so if there is a better oil ill pay extra lol

you need to get an oil testing kit like one from blackstone and it can tell you how well the oil stands up during use. most hondas dont like royal purple under boost, but it worked great under na applications. syn oil in not just syn oil. because you just have to hit a percentage to be considered syn, u really need to know more about the oil from test to know what your getting into. mobile 1 may be stock fill in a lot of cars but honestly mobile 1 in barely a syn and for some time had to remove the fully syn label from their containers because they could not meet a legality. there was a site called theoildude.com but i dont believe its up anymore. do your research.

There are different classes of synthetic oils. Mobil 1 is one a class IV (4) vs. most others that are class V (5), IIRC. Redline MT-90. Pennzoil is good. Royal Purple is overpriced for what it is IMO. But it is a good product, no doubt to that.

i need this...

I Like K&N fliters the best IMHO, I love the nut on top if i cant get the right angle to get a filter wrench on it haha.

I've never had a problem geting a filter off that I put on myself. In my experience, if you are having trouble getting the filter off, you tightened it too much to begin with. Tighten it by hand & loosen it by hand :)

*I have never had an oil filter come loose.

royal purple 5w20 and K&N oil filter every 2k-4k miles depending on my driving over the course of that interval
