I've used it several times without issue. Price wise it is not the deal that it used to be but it's still a bit cheaper than Mobil1, Pennzoil etc.

Bob The Oil guys site has UOAs on it and it test well for normal use. If your one of those types that thinks spending $30 for oil/filter is a financial hardship and therefore likes to spread out the change interval to the upper limits then it may not be the best choice for that.

Ok, I went synthetic. Why do you rec. a good non syn vs syn.?

which synthetic did you go with? My personal experience is if you change your oil at correct intervals, with the correct oil grade, using a decent name brand oil, with a good filter (highly highly suggest OEM filters across all brands), and keeping an eye on the oil levels every 1000miles or so and i really dont see the difference between synthetic and non synthetic. Now if your running a race motor or something under high stress (towing, rally, high dust, high heat, low temp) then synthetic might be something that could be helpful but still to me at least its not worth the extra money.

Most of us on here are "sprinted" drivers... synthetic all the way. for a DD use non sprinted, Reg. oil is fine.
