Realistically, what would you replace your MS3 with?

you have excellent taste

I can't get over Audi's penchant for putting fairy lights all over everything...(blarf)

Honest, there's nothing that can match the Speed in Hilariosity Per Dollar. Until there's something that offers equivalent value, even if it's more expensive, the Speed stays.

I already have an '07 GSXR 1000 if I want to go insanely fast.

If you have a GT, then there are fairy lights in your tail lamps.

And I think the LED utilization looks amazing

I like the way you guys think. The older Z's, especially the 240's, are just sexy as hell. With a half decent engine, that's a car I could see myself taking the time & trouble to maintain for a long, long time.

What about a 3rd Gen. RX-7? With a 3 Rotary engine. Fully built. Now thats what I call SEXXXY!!

WELLL....
4 choices for me, only two of them in the spirit of the thread I guess.
CHOICE #1: I would go back to my first car, 1987 Crown Victoria P71 with the police spec (what we now know and love as the P72 vin code). Excepting that the 5.0 HO would get replaced with a 351W, bored and stroked to 392, and Cleveland 4V or GT40P heads, plus all the usual tricks: P&P. 5 angle valve job, bigger valves, if possible convert to mass air vs. speed density, etc etc etc. LOVED that car, right up to the instant the torque converter turned into shrapnel.
CHOICE #2: The classic. 1968-72 Opel GT. Wouldnt get a 73 only because that was the only year they had smog controls on them, and smog controls are a flippen communist plot that the hippie pinko liberals in congress bought into and common sense hasent been able to beat out of them yet. Full rebuild as a resto-mod.
CHOICE #3: What I would have done this year if I hadnt gotten bum gouge and gotten my Speed (not that I dont love my Speed). 2010 Taurus SHO, with the sport package. You can keep all the luxury gizmos, I just like going fast. BTW, anyone know where they hide the intercooler(s?) on that puppy? Im about 3 nanoseconds from packing up my kid and driving to the local dealership just to pop the hood and salivate.
CHOICE #4: The wet dream car: Noble M400/Rossion Q1. NOTHING like a car that will do ANYTHING an Enzo will do, at about a 10th the price, never having to pass smog or safety inspections, having something rare, and a car that is exotic enough to draw comment, but normal enough to be driven daily. And having a car that the manufactorer says will do 0-60 in 3.3, but been known to go as low as 2.85, and having the potential to go even lower, gives me an adrenalin rush, a shiver, a chubby, and a big s***-eating grin.

Hmmm, 3 rotor...or LS7. I don't know which I'd choose, but doesn't the 20B need to be rebuilt often?

Either of those engines in the FD is beastly.

LS7 without a doubt. Something about a usable powerband and not grenading the motor for no apparent reason just sounds appealing to me.

came really close to trading in my car and truck on a 135i during cash for clunkers, but the bimmer didnt get enough mpg to qualify (damn twin turbos!). So I will wait a few years, but unless something better rolls around, that will be my next car.

hmm....there are a lot of determining factors that come into play. but if i were to "decide" to get rid of this car i would hopefully be getting something that has more power with all or rwd, but is still a 4door. i don't think hatch or sedan would matter to me

if i was "forced" to get rid of it i guess that would mean i could no longer afford keeping it or maintaining it or something, so in that case i would probably end up with a used civic

but i already have this car, an 05 tacoma, and now a 1963 cj that im restoring, so i have enough vehicles. but if i were to merely add another vehicle i would want a complete project car to take up some hobby time. the few i have in mind are a monster miata, some kind of early to mid 1950's truck with a modern engine build, early VW beetle (no performance), or an FD (but keep the rotory).

but if i didn't want another project i might get another motorcycle on top of the cars i have now. im done with superstreet (had a gsxr600), but im not a harley guy. i like the suzuki boulevard
