Realistically, what would you replace your MS3 with?

I'm bored and I wanted to see what others would replace their MS3 if given the opportunity.

Let's just say you have an extra $5,000 to spend. Not that I do =( but just to get this random post going. What would you replace the beast with? Nothing over the top like an R8 or Bugatti.

I guess I'll start it off...

I think I'd go back to the RX8, but the 2nd gen. Or an S2000.

Yeah, downgrade in torque, and upgrade in handling =D.

Thinking a Nissan 400Z. The combination of satisfaction with the Speed and the fact that no 400Z exists (yet), it'll probably be a few years.

Not much. I really like my car. Lotus Elise if I wasn't 6'5", or a Tesla. The electric thing would be really cool. 100% of available torque at 0 rpm. Fun stuff...

I'd buy an 05-06 RSX so I would have no car payment. Wheels/suspension only. Then I'd buy a 2g DSM shell and start building a fun car. I'm really starting to miss my old car. :(

I've been wanting a MKIV Supra Turbo since forever and a day. But they're still outrageously overpriced (Thank you "Fast and Furious") so I have been thinking I'd go buy a decent MKIII Supra just for the chassis, and drop a 2JZ engine into it. Would probably cost me less than a new car, and have a million upgrade possibilities, too.

The other option would be to get an NA/NB series Miata, either in fully restored condition, or for cheap with an eye towards restoring it. And then slap a turbo kit on it for added fun factor.

Yeah, I think I'm nearly done with brand new cars.

2010 GTI or a G37 coupe, either with 6-speed manual. I'd get the GTI new, but I'd probably shop for a low-mileage used G37 to let somebody else take the luxury depreciation hit.

Remote possibility is a 2007 Acura TL Type S in blue, with 6-speed. Talk about beautiful...

i've been lusting after a 2007 Corvette Z06 for the past 3 yrs. i wouldn't get a 2006 bc that was the 1st yr of production for the model, and suspension was actually too stiff. i think the beasts are coming down to ~$45k, so it's not out of the realm of possibility, but still have to wait a yr or 2, then i'll pull the trigger. 505 hp. <drools> (headbang)

If had at the time a few extra thousand bucks I would have gotten a fully loaded Mustang GT convertible back in 08. Until the speed3 I looked down upon a car unless it had a V8 in it, lol. Obviously my views have changed.
