What have you done to your P5 today?

backed out around it again

Gotta get the front endlink reinstalled and put the thing on autotrader already

Got my MSP radio pocket and bracket today in the mail. Thanks sean.
Fits perfect and was a breeze to install. It looks much better than the hole in my dash, that's for sure.

50-60k used protege engine
AWR Oil Pan
TOGA high volume oil pump
New gaskets, etc.
Swap timing belt, water pump, tensioners from current engine (done about 10k ago)
Remove VCTS and mild port and polish on intake manifold
AEM SRI
JDM Mazdaspeed intake and exhaust cams
NSN longer 5th gear
Spec or Exedy stock replacement (or stage 1??) clutch
Lightened flywheel (spec or exedy?)
Volt and Oil pressure gauges
Maybe SLS catted midpipe
Maybe mild port and polish on the head
Maybe MSP LSD

Currently have:
MP3 ECU

AWR F/R 70 duro motor mounts, side inserts
Kartboy short shifter

This is a good list...as someone who just did it, you definitely should add a UDP to this list. Adds low-end torque and is easy to install!

I was just driving home and I came around a bend in the road at around 50-55 mph, (55 was the posted speed limit) and there was a big buck right in the middle of the road. It was around 2am and the road it was on I drive on every day, it was about 100 yards from the entrance to my neighborhood. I slammed on the brakes which left marks and turned to the right and only hit him with my driver's side mirror. It busted the mirror completely and took the cover off. I drove back and picked the cover off of the road and it has a small crack and a couple scuffs but is intact. I guess I should file for insurance? I think it's considered an 'act of God' so it doesn't affect payments.
Cliff Notes:
Drove home at night, hit deer right outside neighborhood, broken driver's side mirror, no body damage. (that I could see using my cellphone as a light)

OK. So I got my 4pt cross linkage on for the trunk cage set. It was giving me such a hard time. I had to use some washers to raise the bottom part up about 1/2 inch.

Also SCCA Vid from this weekend...lol

Last night, i replaced the front two stock speakers with these

I also did a poor man's insulation work by lining the inside of the doors with peel and seal

Going to be replacing the rear speakers sometime this weekend

It's starting to get cold here in Wisconsin, doesn't look like it's going to break 45 any day in the next week. I'm thinking that I'm going to have to put the snow tires on soon, considering that two of my summer tires are really beyond the end of their useful life.

Good reflexes...

Unless your deductible is ZERO, I would fix it on your own...

I think i'm gonna fix it on my own. The mirror cover is intact, just need to find a new mirror piece on the internet and pop the red cover back on. I'm very lucky I didn't do more damage, only thing I noticed was a small, less than 1 in. scuff on the rocker panel that may or may not have been from the deer and some white stuff on the window, either from the glass breaking off and hitting it or the deer's antlers.
I should blame the fact that I didn't see it in time was because I don't have HID's yet and go ahead and order them.

(evil)

Good way to justify a mod!

Next step is projector retro

then you'll be saying "It's unsafe driving around with HID's in the reflector housings these days."
