What have you done to your P5 today?

yeah i dont want nothing to much iam keeping stock bottom end really just goin to stay around 8psi i got a msp head that i had ported and polished inside and out,, iam goin for a lil go and alot of show
 
first pic is me test fitting my turbo, come to find out this manifold is not made right so i had to put that off till i get a different mani,,,, the second pic is the engine right now sitting in the garage

yeah it took me a while but i do polishing myself took me bout a day just throwing that out if anyone needs that done pm

yeah i got all that made up just waiting on the finished mani to come in they its a tear down and hopefully totally done in about a month ....

Ivan...if you need a headgasket, I have an OEM one sitting in the garage with pretty much the entire engine gasket set...let me know if you need anything...I only used a few things out of there...
 
Got my powder coating kit today in the mail. Now all I need is a spare oven then im going do up all my brackets and maybe my brake calipers.

A buddy and I are planning on doing the same thing so we can powdercoat wheels and such.

Also got my linkage bars for my trunk cage just a little while ago.
 
Decided that if/when I need to replace my motor (oil consumption at a rate of 1 quart every 1k miles) I am going to do a mild NA build more so focused on reliability and just being a fun daily driver. I also want to keep it as CARB legal as possible. Some stuff I am looking into, let me know if I am forgetting something:

50-60k used protege engine
AWR Oil Pan
TOGA high volume oil pump
New gaskets, etc.
Swap timing belt, water pump, tensioners from current engine (done about 10k ago)
Remove VCTS and mild port and polish on intake manifold
AEM SRI
JDM Mazdaspeed intake and exhaust cams
NSN longer 5th gear
Spec or Exedy stock replacement (or stage 1??) clutch
Lightened flywheel (spec or exedy?)
Volt and Oil pressure gauges
Maybe SLS catted midpipe
Maybe mild port and polish on the head
Maybe MSP LSD

Currently have:
MP3 ECU
Racing Beat catback
AWR F/R 70 duro motor mounts, side inserts
Kartboy short shifter
 
i just ordered new springs for my 02' p5 from protege garage, its still stock, so its my first step on a budget.

Just got fixit tickets for no front plate and front window tint. Damn broke CA....

Damn, I had one for loud exhaust a couple years back but I got it thrown out of court.

I have never had a front plate on any of my cars. I've heard Ohio cops will get me for it, but I've never even had a cop mention it to me. And they have had PLENTY of oppurtunities to mention it to me, lol.
