What have you done to your P5 today?

Mine is back on the road. Not without some new issue though. Weird almost "notched" whirring noise from the drivetrain. No idea, either wheel bearing or 1/2 shaft didn't like it when I torqued the axle-nut on...

Love it/Hate it

Its getting high! lol Also vacuumed. Going to wash and wax tomorrow morning.

Looks like the P5 is winning out over the MSM in going out tonight. Originally it was just going to be two of us...now a 3rd wheel is coming too. Grrrr

It's actually perfectly clean, damn sun. (coffee)

As far as performance, I plan on getting an MP3 ECU in the future and that's about it. Possibly an intake too.

You say that, but it won't happen...I thought all I would do is an intake...I didn't stop though...although nothing major, it is a lot more than I would of ever thought...

FINALLY, installed my 4-2-1 header today...and that b**** is loud!! Just ordered a silencer...

The exhaust leak from the EGR bung not being hooked up probably isn't helping much......

ah, didn't realize that you had extended the EGR. With it stock, it def didn't look like it was anywhere near of a fit.

Very nice Antonio. That red valve cover is gonna set the entire engine bay off. Looks great man.

Well today was a long ass day working on the car. Luckily, everything went perfectly and there were no problems with the install at all. I replaced my rear crossmember that had two broken bolts that hold the swaybar brackets. I'm now rocking the MSP rear crossmember that's both better and cheaper. The reinforced MSP crossmember is half the price and is a lot better. All four of the mounting points for the swaybar brackets are bolts instead of having two studs on the protege/p5 one. I have all BRAND NEW hardware for everything and brand new custom endlinks made just like the ones in the how-to thread.

I also used three full cans of rustoleum professional undercoating on the entire undercarriage and wheel wells. The undercarriage looks brand new now and I'm ready for the winter.

Lastly, I installed my new and improved transmission fluid cooler. It's a much better design over the one I had before and I feel much more confident with it on.

Pics will probably come tomorrow but the car feels amazing in the turns and I feel much more at ease with the undercarriage basically rust-proofed.

Looks good. did you notice any difference? besides the nosie? (poke)

yeah BESIDES the noise, the low end pull is a better than before, a quicker response to the pedal,

Lol we did learn that the hard way for sure. Glad to know it's on there right now. Anyway, here are the pics. Excuse the dustiness of the cross-member and the rust on the brake parts (didn't wanna spray those with undercoating). I think that cross-member sat in a warehouse for ages.
