Not bad. Did you caulk where the floor meets the wall, where the floor meets the bottom of the tub, and where the door jams are?

The grout will crack at those locations. You can get sanded caulk that will match the grout also.

Trying to clean out my garage.

Someone come get my MX6 or MY Miata!!!
$500 & $5000 respectively.

i got a tv and tv stand for the basement and power washed my back porch. those bastard ants keep redigging their ant holes between the bricks on the back porch. i need to spray some stuff down

Nice work all! I want a garage to tinker in!

Yes I did. Actually trying to find something to fill gap between tub and floor. I had to elevate tub for support so it's about a 1/8" if that higher than floor. I got some vinyl adhesive and put that down but the moisture from shower ruined it. so i'm thinking i may put more concrete down and sanded grout. also applied a sealant over the shower wall and floor to prevent mold issues.

Fill it with sanded caulk. The grout or mortar will crack when you fill the tub with water. Use a damp sponge to smooth the caulk line.

Make sure to seal the grout with a penetrating sealer 3 to 4 weeks after the install. You can use Rain X spray on the shower walls to reduce soap scum.

Looks good man. I am not a fan of anything not brown for mulch, but it looks very good and you need a good front anchor plant near your walk.

Exactly! I have been looking for something to put by the walk. I am yanking that ugly Alysym out of there and planting Phlox next year.

We have balck mortar so the black mulch pops a bit more.

What do you suggest as an ancher?

The scale is off because you have small lillies there. Anything even mid size will be pretty overwhelming. Also dependent on sun/shade ratio.

Buddleia 'Nanho Purple' or other Buddleja (Butterfly Bush)

Clethra 'Ruby Spice' (rabbits love these)

dwarf korean spice viburnum

dwarf Fothergilla

Hydrangea 'Pink Diamond'

Spirea 'snowmound' plant (needs to be trimmed)

Feather Reed Grass 'Brachytricha'

a japanese maple will look nice at the 90 degree corner too.

hmm.. this wasn't done TODAY but within the last few weeks.. stripped and refinished my decks.

Before pic on the right, after pic on the left. After pic is a crappy cell phone pic though.

I am not going to do much more. We are gonna buy some more furniture to "complete" the house, then pack it ALL up in Dec and put it in storage.

Tiles on the bathroom is done and the kitchen furniture is ready for install, I will upload some pics later.
