first.. the UR pulley had nothing to do with it.. for the belts to not be on, well.. you got the wrong size, or didn't tighten enough....

as far as your issue.. you def overheated b/c of no belt...

the noise really isn't too prominent in the vid aside from the regular valve lash noise... but.. w/ overheating it's possible you messed the head.

Sounds like the water pump is shot. I had one go out in my jeep and it sounded like someone threw gravel in the engine. my guess is that the belt came off and fluids stopped moving like they should and overheated something in the pump.

I couldn't find the right size belts cause even on full tention, s*** still came off so I said **** it. I didn't even notice a gain anyway so I trashed it.

It's the tinking noise, the other noise is normal. It doesn't change w/ rev either so iono.

Thats exactly what it sounds like, a gravel in the engine that keeps pace, no matter how high rpms are.

well if it overheated, you could have head warpage.. go with my idea on the other motor. and mess w/ yours while the other is in!!

Oil looks great, doubt any head damage happend, but what do I know.
....... lol

idk I say keep runnin this thing for a while... by the time you're ready to do the swap you'll know if this engine is any good.

you've got a perfect situation for something like this to happen, because you have options.

he has another engine if it blows, i say run this one for now

if you have to overheat and engine... the perfect time to do it is when you've got another good one in your posession, and plans which require ripping the current one anyway.

yes, you can do the swap without yanking the engine... but I wouldn't... its easier just to pull the whole thing.

he should swap the whole thing, makes it easier and if something goes wrong with that one he has another laying around still
