What have you done to your MSP today?

I wasn't aware of apex making a downpipe... Everything I've seen (local guy has one) is that the apex R1 system is a under axel midpipe back system.

yea apex r1 made a j-pipe back downpipe, think they still do. the j part was like 2.5 or 2.7 and the rest was 3inch.

lol well i have the s-pipe back to a muffler
yea and i havent a pnp s-pipe which probably helped with the noise and back then i had a stock pnp manifold too.

it pisses me off that cars get tickets for exhaust, and bikes are louder than our cars, american one's atleast, and they get no tickets. Asshole's.

That's because cops drive Harley's and they can't go and give themselves tickets now can they. If they gave them to bikers then it'd be contradiction.

True. But one ticket I got by the beach. They cop said people complain about noise by thier houses, cuz it's basically oceanfront property.
ok, so then why are cop's on loud ass motor cycles patrolling there. Why not just a quiet crown vic. Or charger..not so quiet.

btw my car has been hesitating lately after the SS AFC install.

it ran smooth before but for the past 2 days has been hesitating... any ideas?

motorcycles are subject to the same restrictions, you think they should enforce the same crash safety regulations too?

I don't know if I'll ever get a bike (even though I think it'd be fun). Just because I'd prefer to not have my brains smeared on the side of I-85. Just me though.

Noise regulations and saftey regulations are COMPLETELY different topics.

yesterday i was revving the apexi in my garage and this old fat lady came wobbling out about 4 houses down from me and asked me what i was doing. i told her i was working on my car. she said that the noise is very disturbing. i told her ill keep that in mind. (nana)

Well, always remember that 1st gear @ 3,500 RPM is the best way to warm up your car as you leave the neighborhood...

TIRE UPDATE: They're pretty freakin good. I'm really having to control myself to let them break-in properly...

my point is the motorcycles are subject to a completely different set of standards, in basically all respects. Emissions, safety, sound... name it. Its a different rulebook.

Don't you mean a 2nd gear pull from 3500-6000?
I used to have neighbors complain about the exhaust on my corolla... so I kept it quiet, cept by one house where I always made sure I made as much noise as possible.

so, the MSP threw up the red brake warning light at me today... not sure what the hell thats about.

Red BRAKE light is your e-brake. Either its a loose connection or you didn't have it down all the way. The Yellow "Drum Brake" icon means a ABS fault.

thats not all it indicates. it came on as I was rolling to a stop twice, and went off immediately after I let up on the pedal...
I'm going to assume it has something to do with the wrong rear rotors being on my car (ES/P5 I assume)... and I'm also going to hope that the calipers aren't FUBAR. I noticed they were wrong (came on the car) about 2 weeks ago and haven't had the money to fix it just yet. Kinda tight with moving this weekend and all...
