To me #3's seems a little less quality in the drawing from the wheels to the car in general. The car in #1 and #2 seem to be more consistent as far as clarity and quality goes. Was the same program used in the renderings? Not trying to hate...just an obeservation.

My votes is for 1 and 2, wing issues aside. I have the same concern about #3 as Hank3. It's far better than my drawing skills, yet does not have the same "polish" as the other two.

Hey, no worries. We're aiming to offer 2 designs for sale. Just need to get 25+ orders for each design.

Just to clarify, I have no company logo, as I have no company. I'm just a dipstick who's smart enough (hopefully) to coordinate packing & shipping these shirts out once they reach me. Oh, and lucky enough to know a talented & generous graphic designer to bring these ideas to life.

Looks like a LOT of people have decided to vote only once. Hoping there is going to be enough demand to get 2 designs to the screen printer. I'll probably order 2 of each of the "winning" designs, myself, even if the Side Profile wins- my least favorite of all 5 original designs. I do have PM's from 2 different people telling me they'd probably order 5-6 shirts, so that's good news.

Poll ends Sunday, and Craig will digitally mock up t-shirts to display on the GB thread next week.

LOL! Wow, no kidding... those are pretty much your wheels, eh?

Unfortunately, we've gotta do just one design & color combo. Man, it would be awesome if we could customize individual shirts for individual cars, but the screen printer would probably charge us $250 per shirt for that & it might drive my graphic designer friend a little loopy. LOL

Just because I like to play with numbers and statistics a little, nothing in-depth...

59 people have voted so far.

32 people voted for #3. Of those:
19 only voted for #3, and opted not to place a 2nd vote
8 voted for #2
5 voted for #1

27 people voted for #1. Of those:
12 only voted for #1, and opted not to place a 2nd vote
10 voted for #2
5 voted for #3

24 people voted for #2. Of those:
6 voted only for #2, and opted not to place a 2nd vote
10 voted for #1
8 voted for #3

Based on this, assuming the numbers don't change much before the poll ends, #1 and #3 would be the 2 designs we offer up.

If that were the case, and this is pure speculation, based on 1 shirt per person, etc...

We'd have 19 definites for #3. Plus 8 #2's who would take this as their 2nd choice, for a total of 27. That would fill that order sufficiently to be placed.

We'd have 12 definites for #1. Plus 10 #2's who would take this as their 2nd choice, for a total of 22. Not quite enough to place the order.

5 people voted for #1 and #3, potentially raising the totals to 32 for #3 and 27 for #1. IF those 5 people decide they want one of each shirt.

Then we also have 6 who voted only for #2 and nothing else. No idea if they might decide to grudgingly order one of the other 2 designs.

But assuming that everyone else who voted would be interested in purchasing at least one shirt, and figuring in my own desire for multiple shirts, plus PM's from 1-2 others who want multiples it looks like we're all but assured of completing both orders. w00t!

I should get colors & prices from Craig, probably early this week. And I will do some recon at Staples/Office Despot/Costco to price shipping materials (padded manila envelopes). I already have postage estimates for first class US Mail. (Anyone outside the US might want to PM me to check postage before PayPal is sent) GB should post up by the 2nd or 3rd at the latest, and maybe run thru 7/10-7/11, depending on how quickly orders are placed. So if you're living paycheck to paycheck & want one of these shirts, please budget accordingly, as I won't be ordering extras and this is a one-time deal, as approved by Antoine.

Yeah, if you just look at the number of votes for each one, you might think that. But keeping in mind that people got to place 2 votes each, I'm not so sure everyone who did vote for more than one design would actually buy more than one.

With the final vote beng so close, I do feel bad about having to eliminate one choice, but if we were to offer all 3, then one design fell short of its quota & I had to get in touch with everyone who wanted it to either cancel or change their orders, it'd be a right royal mess. Remember, I'm not in business. This is something very out of the ordinary for me to be doing, so I need to remember not to overcomplicate things. (Too late, eh?)

As soon as I have pricing from Craig, I will post the Group Buy in the Marketplace forum offering the "Side Profile" and "Multiple Choice" designs.
