need some help with access port.

Hi,

I'm currently running SF, test pipe w/stock exhaust, and TMIC and am planning to purchase the access port. I'm not sure what stage to use, I'm afraid that my engine will run too lean for stage 1 but my current mod is not qualify for stage 2. Just want to know which program I should use and if I will have any issue with it like boost creep/spiking, denotation, backfire etc. I'm a newbie to this and your help will greatly appreciate.

are you saying you have an upgraded TMIC or just the stock? my mods didnt match any of the specs fully, and still dont so i just run a map that does the job. if you have an upgraded TMIC id try the Stage2+SF 93 +TMIC, and break it in for 50 miles then run and get a log. don't know about others bit usually no matter what map i run im running rich as crap. if its stock tmic then it sounds like all u need is the Stage1+SF 91 Octane or Stage1+SF 93 Octane

Stage 2 with a Test Pipe is just fine and what you should run. Just monitor any map you run.

Just be careful of knock..i have testpipe too and i ran stage 2 and my knock was in the high 4's....I then got in contact with Surgeline Tuning in Portland, and I dare say the best ms3 tuner in the country,if not their right up there..anyways head tuner Tim Baily had me run a stage 1sf map, and ive done quite a few hard pulls through 4th gear and my knock doesnt go higher than 0.7 and everything is looking pretty safe...But it cant hurt trying out the stage 2 to see if it works for you..then if not go stage 1..Your best bet down the road is just like me...custom tune

Thank you all for your help. I wish I can run the Stage2+SF 93 +TMIC, but I live in san francisco, so we don't have any 93 gas here...sucks. I guess I should use stage one to be safe. I don't mind running a little rich, well, at least is safer IMO.

Ditto...I tried the stage 2 and saw the same results.
Running ATR modified stage 1 FMIC now and only see occassional WOT kr of .3-.7.
