HKS SSQ BOV BPV Help

When I put it on I do only have a few screws in it. I just had the extras stuck in there when it was in the box so I wouldn't lose them. Thanks for the instruction link though! That's more than I found.

yeah when the shroud is off there is only 4 screws in. then the other four hold the shroud on. no problem i wish i could find more lol i will try.

I tried it again and I'm about done with it to be honest. Still doesn't go together and I'm tired of trying at this point.

at least one of the screws in there has to come out.... you MAY have the wrong 4 in... I forget.

pull the screw out, put it together, then put em back in.

When I took mine apart today, all eight of the screws go through the shroud. Basically put the rubber gasket into the shroud, put the shroud onto the bov, then screw all eight (8) of the screws on. At least that is how mine is set up. It looks like from the picture that you screwed the rubber gasket on first and perhaps that is why the shroud won't fit. You will lose boost if there is a gap any where in there. When I started my car with the shroud off to see, it would just stall out at idle.

4 of the screws actually hold the shroud, 4 only hold the rubber gasket...

perhaps, but all eight of the screws on mine are on the out side. I am refering to the last picture he put up. In the shroud there is eight indentions where the screws would go in. It appears that he put the gasket on, then screwed it on, then the shroud. That is not how mine is.
