Synchonic BOV coming soon!!

shins, springs, annoying sound. man, IM glad i have a Greddy Type S and all i have to do is turn the Tuning screw hahaha

Last I heard replacement diaphragms from GReddy (who has filed for bankruptcy) were $80. O-rings and diaphragms from us are about $80 less than that.

thats ok. still sounds better than the forge. will cross that bridge when i get there haha

Is the sound really that bad?? I should receive mine in a few days so I guess Ill find out. Maybe I could trade it in? idk..
Mike

No the noise isn't that bad. Put it this way, I put my stocker back on and I can't even hear it over all the engine noise. I like that the Forge does have that unique sound because you can always hear it over the engine! I'm on my blackberry right now but go to youtube and search "forge mps dump" and you'll find a video of a guy's MS3 (MPS overseas) and it sounds great!

Will check it out!

Would enough interest spark production of this option?

I'll have a few finalized units of the "pingless" valve in my hands next week but they won't be in production for a bit but that is a different valve designed specifically to address the noise, the RSR valve is our "top of the line" universal valve. We can build them with 4 different side ports (28mm for the MS3/6) and about 20 different bottom ports and flanges, one of which fits the MS3/6, and they've been available since before I started with the company, so its not really a matter of interest sparking production as it is people starting to order them for the MS3/6.

Doesn't ping, doesn't hit the shroud, doesn't hit the hood (although it is CLOSE). The flange to discharge port height is a bit more than the OEM valve so the recirc tube fits just the slightest bit off kilter but it isn't very noticeable.

I`ve been using a prototype of this valve for months and I can tell you it works as advertised. Sharp looking, excellent machine work like all the Forge products, and no ping. I`ve been involved with this product from the beginning, starting with a welded up functional but ugly as sin prototype we nicknamed "Frankenvalve". It worked though, and Patty has been responsive to all my observations on subsequent updates, until it appears to finally be ready for primetime. Small, clean, and functional. It should appeal to the guys (and ladies) who want subtle but effective. I`m assuming that if you want the sound to be less intrusive, you prefer the visual impact to be subtle as well (like me). Nice looking, definite improvement visually and functionally over the stocker, but doesn`t take over your engine bay like some others.

Can't wait for this to hit production. Been waiting for it since you hinted about it a while back...
