Dude don't take off the turbo from the manifold, take if off as an entire assembly. Similar to this.

But leave the S pipe on it. This one had a way different manifold.

dude i took the whole 4 hour and still couldnt take it off. maybe 2morrow(poke)(poke)

4hrs, really? Maybe 1 hr on a car that has a little to much rust. You need another buddy with a protege to hang out with you. It goes much easier with a spare set of hands.

WTF is wrong with these guys now, I have a friend with an evo 9 that wants all these parts installed but won't get off his couch to put a few hrs at his dads tv shop or even to work on his car.

So what's up pay for some gas money and I'll go help you out. Invite your friend with small hands. Where's Neox? Lets invite him, he can practically fit in the engine bay with the motor still in there.

i would mind you what an hour away do u know how to install the motor

No... all I ever work on is civics. or trucks with a bbc in them. LOL yeah I can do that. I don't work on cars though. I charge to much. I'll be happy to help though.

yes

both bob and I know how to install the motor, and I've done it several times...only reason I had to do mine multiple times was cause I kept cutting corners on parts internal to the engine, but the swap I had done no problem multiple times

lol, and I'm doing it again this weekend too hahaha

it's pretty easy actually, I can do it in a few hours now

Oh and please spray the hubs with tri flow, wd40 you name it spray it with all kinds of lube. Throw some k.y. on there too if you feel it will help.

That's better than me, It does take me a while to do the full swap.

I can pull it in less than an hour, and re-install in less than an hour...swaping all the parts over is the hardest part...if he has to swap the windage tray then it'll take a little longer cause he will have to wait for the gasket to seal but otherwise it's not that bad

Oh and get in to the other forum so we'll have to stop making fun of you since your stll not on.
